SATURDAY:
Chippa United vs Milford FC – click here to bet
Chippa United remain in search of their first league victory after drawing three of their opening four matches. They started the campaign with a goalless stalemate away to Golden Arrows before sharing the points with Richards Bay following a 1-1 result.
Their only defeat came in a difficult home assignment against Orlando Pirates, who claimed a convincing 3-0 victory. Chippa responded by earning another 1-1 draw away to Siwelele, leaving them 13th on the table with 3 points.
Milford FC have collected 7 points from their first five Premiership matches and occupy 5th position on the log. Their campaign began with a 2-0 loss away to Orlando Pirates, but they reacted swiftly by securing consecutive home victories over Siwelele and Kruger United.
A goalless draw at Polokwane City extended Milford’s unbeaten sequence to three matches before they travelled to Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday. The newly promoted outfit competed well but ultimately suffered a 2-0 defeat.
Head-to-Head:
This will be the first competitive meeting between Chippa United and Milford FC.
Odds: Chippa United 3.15 | Draw 3.15 | Milford FC 2.50
Verdict:
Chippa United will need to be more clinical in front of goal but they have at least shown some fight with their 3 draws.
Milford have made the stronger overall start, and their two defeats came away to Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, the division’s leading title contenders. They have also kept two clean sheets and conceded only once across their matches against Siwelele, Kruger United and Polokwane City.
Neither team has been particularly prolific which points towards another tight contest. Chippa’s tendency to draw, together with Milford’s competitive opening to life in the Premiership, makes a share of the spoils my preferred selection.
Bet: Draw at 3.15

Sekhukhune United vs TS Galaxy – click here to bet
Sekhukhune United opened their season with a narrow 1-0 home victory over Durban City but were unable to carry that momentum into their visit to Kaizer Chiefs, where they suffered a 2-0 defeat.
They returned to winning ways with an assured 2-0 home triumph over Polokwane City before losing by the same scoreline away to Orlando Pirates. Those results leave Sekhukhune 8th on the table with 6 points from four matches.
TS Galaxy have experienced an entertaining start to the campaign, beginning with a 2-2 draw away to Siwelele before pushing Mamelodi Sundowns closely in a 3-2 home defeat.
The team then played out a goalless stalemate against Golden Arrows before earning their first triumph of the season with a thrilling 3-2 win away to Marumo Gallants. They enter Saturday’s fixture in 9th place with 5 points, having scored and conceded seven goals.
Head-to-Head:
Sekhukhune United have won three of the last six meetings between the teams, with TS Galaxy claiming one victory and the remaining two encounters ending level. Sekhukhune completed a league double over Galaxy last season, winning both matches 1-0 and have also take three consecutive victories into this fixture across all competitions.
Odds: Sekhukhune United 2.25 | Draw 3.15 | TS Galaxy 3.85
Verdict:
Sekhukhune have produced contrasting results during the opening weeks, winning both of their home fixtures without conceding but losing each of their two matches on the road. Returning to familiar surroundings should therefore provide them with an important advantage.
TS Galaxy arrive with renewed belief following their victory over Marumo Gallants and have displayed greater attacking threat, scoring seven times in four matches. However, their defence has been vulnerable, particularly in high scoring encounters against Sundowns and Gallants.
Sekhukhune’s perfect home record and recent dominance of this matchup strengthen the case for the hosts. Having won the last three meetings and kept clean sheets in both league clashes last season, I believe they are set to secure another victory over Galaxy.
Bet: Sekhukhune United to Win at 2.25
