Sunday the 4th of October brings another round of 2026/27 UEFA Nations League action with Netherlands welcoming Serbia in Group 2 and Portugal hosting Norway in Group 4. The Dutch remain unbeaten as they face a Serbian side still searching for their first point, while Portugal aim to make it four successive victories. We take a closer look at both fixtures from a betting perspective below.

Netherlands opened their campaign with a 1-1 home draw against Germany before beating Serbia 2-1 away. They then recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 in Greece on Thursday, leaving them second in Group 2 with five points.
The Dutch fell behind in the 23rd minute against Greece and conceded again in first-half stoppage time to enter the break trailing 2-0. Virgil van Dijk reduced the deficit in the 59th minute, giving the visitors a route back into the contest.
Netherlands had to wait until the 89th minute for their equaliser, with Tijjani Reijnders finding the net to rescue a point and preserve their unbeaten start.
Serbia have lost all three of their opening fixtures, suffering successive 2-1 home defeats against Greece and Netherlands before going down 2-0 away to Germany on Thursday.
The Serbians kept Germany out until the 39th minute but conceded before the interval to reach half time 1-0 down. A second goal in the 61st minute increased their deficit and they were unable to produce a response.
Head-to-Head
Netherlands won the only meeting between the nations, claiming a 2-1 away victory in the competition last Sunday.
That result gave the Dutch their first win of the campaign and they now have the opportunity to complete the double over Serbia on home soil.
Match Odds (1X2)
Netherlands 1.18

Serbia 16.00
Verdict
Netherlands showed their character to recover from two goals behind in Greece and will look to build on that response back at home. They have already beaten Serbia away in this campaign, while the visitors arrive after three consecutive defeats. The Dutch have conceded in every match, which offers Serbia some encouragement, but I am backing the hosts to have enough attacking quality to secure all three points.

Portugal vs Norway – click here to bet
Portugal have taken maximum points from their opening three matches, beating Wales 1-0 at home and Norway 2-1 away before claiming a 4-2 victory in Denmark on Thursday.
Joao Cancelo opened the scoring in the 13th minute against Denmark before the hosts equalised ten minutes later. Goncalo Ramos quickly restored Portugal’s advantage in the 25th minute, giving the visitors a 2-1 lead at the break.
Denmark drew level again in the 53rd minute but Portugal found another response through Vitinha in the 67th. Joao Felix added a fourth in the 87th minute to settle the contest and keep Portugal top of Group 4 with nine points.
Norway began their campaign with a 3-2 home victory against Denmark but have since suffered successive 2-1 defeats, losing at home to Portugal before being beaten in Wales earlier this week.
Oscar Bobb struck first to give Norway an early advantage in the 11th minute against Wales, but the hosts equalised in the 38th to leave the sides level at the interval.
Norway conceded again just three minutes after the restart and were unable to find an equaliser. They now sit third in Group 4 with three points, six behind Portugal heading into Sunday’s return fixture.
Head-to-Head
Portugal have recorded four wins across the last six meetings between the nations, with Norway winning once and the other encounter ending in a draw.
Their most recent meeting was Portugal’s 2-1 away victory last Sunday. Portugal also won 3-0 in a friendly in 2016 and 1-0 at home during Euro 2012 qualifying.
Match Odds (1X2)
Portugal 1.69

Norway 4.75
Verdict
Portugal have made an impressive start and their four-goal return in Denmark highlighted their attacking threat. Norway have scored in all three matches but have also conceded twice in each, leaving them vulnerable against a side that has already beaten them behind enemy lines. The visitors can make this competitive although Portugal’s form and home advantage make them my selection to claim another three points in a game where we get goals at both ends.
