Group K reaches its conclusion early on Sunday morning in South Africa as Colombia take on Portugal while D.R. Congo face Uzbekistan. We take a look at both matches from a betting angle below.
Group K Update
Colombia currently lead Group K with a perfect six points after winning both of their opening fixtures. Portugal sit second on four points, while D.R. Congo have one point and Uzbekistan remain without a point after two defeats.
Colombia have already secured qualification for the Round of 32 but will be aiming to complete a perfect group campaign and finish top of the standings. Portugal are guaranteed progression after recovering well from their opening stalemate.
D.R. Congo still have a chance of advancing as one of the best third-placed teams (in theory they could still finish 2nd ahead of Portugal but it’s highly unlikely) but must first defeat Uzbekistan and hope results elsewhere work in their favour.
Uzbekistan need to win and hope that that is enough to finish as one of the 8 best placed 3rd teams.
Colombia vs Portugal
Colombia have experienced a flawless tournament so far and arrive at the final group fixture with maximum points from two matches and their campaign began with an impressive 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan.
They followed that up with another composed display against D.R. Congo. After a tightly contested first-half, Colombia eventually found the breakthrough in the 76th minute when Daniel Munoz grabbed his second goal of the tournament to secure a 1-0 victory and confirm qualification for the knockout stages.
Portugal began their World Cup campaign with a frustrating 1-1 draw against D.R. Congo. Joao Neves gave the Europeans the perfect start with a sixth-minute opener,
but they were unable to build on their early advantage before Yoane Wissa struck in first-half stoppage time to earn D.R. Congo a share of the spoils.
They responded in emphatic fashion in their second outing by thrashing Uzbekistan 5-0. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice while Nuno Mendes also found the net before an own goal from Abduvakhid Nematov and a late strike from Rafael Leao completed an outstanding performance that put Portugal firmly into second place.

Verdict
Colombia have already booked their place in the knockout stages but will still be determined to maintain their perfect record. Portugal looked outstanding against Uzbekistan after their opening draw and possess far greater attacking firepower than Colombia have faced so far. Both sides are full of confidence, but Portugal appear to have found their rhythm and look capable of claiming the win here although I see both sides producing goals.

D.R. Congo vs Uzbekistan
D.R. Congo remain in contention heading into the final group fixture despite collecting just one point from their opening two matches. They began the tournament with an impressive 1-1 draw against Portugal.
Their second outing proved far more frustrating as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Colombia. D.R. Congo defended resolutely for much of the contest but were eventually undone in the 76th minute, leaving the Africans needing victory in their final fixture to stand any chance of progression.
Uzbekistan have struggled throughout the tournament and have already been eliminated after suffering back-to-back defeats. Their opening match ended in a 3-1 loss to Colombia where Abbosbek Fayzullaev briefly brought his side level shortly after the hour mark, but Colombia struck twice late on to pull away.
Their second fixture was even more disappointing as they were comfortably beaten 5-0 by Portugal to cut their World Cup run short.

Verdict
D.R. Congo have competed well against two strong opponents and were unfortunate to come away empty handed against Colombia. Uzbekistan have conceded eight goals across their opening two matches and have looked vulnerable defensively throughout the tournament. With D.R. Congo still having a realistic chance of progressing, they should have enough motivation and quality to finish their campaign with all three points, and I believe they will win this match comfortably.
