Round 4 of the English Premier League kicks off on Saturday the 12th of September with three key fixtures catching our eye.
Liverpool host Fulham, Tottenham welcome Everton before Arsenal travel to face Sunderland. We cover all three encounters from a betting angle below.
Let’s start with a look at the latest Outright Betting where defending Champions Arsenal are favourites to retain the Premier League title at 1.70 with Manchester City their closest challengers at 3.70. Chelsea trade at 9.00 while Liverpool are available at 15.00.

LIVERPOOL vs FULHAM
Liverpool are in 6th position after collecting five points from their opening three league fixtures. Their campaign began with consecutive 2-2 draws against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
The side secured their first victory of the season when they travelled to Ipswich Town in the previous round, producing a disciplined performance to earn a 2-0 win. They have scored six goals across their three matches but will be searching for greater consistency at the back.
Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 at home in the Champions League in midweek.
Fulham are still looking for their first points following three defeats on the trot. They opened with a narrow 3-2 home loss against Chelsea before suffering a 1-0 setback away to Sunderland.
Their latest match produced another entertaining contest, although Fulham again came out empty handed after losing 3-2 to Crystal Palace which puts them in 19th place on the table.
Head-to-Head:
Liverpool have claimed two victories across the last six meetings, while Fulham have won once and three encounters have ended level.
The Reds recorded a 2-0 home victory in the most recent clash during April after the first fixture ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

Liverpool 1.47
Draw 5.25
Fulham 6.50
Verdict:
Liverpool gained confidence from their first victory of the campaign and now return home to face a side that has struggled defensively.
Fulham have remained competitive and scored twice against both Chelsea and Crystal Palace, but three consecutive defeats make them difficult to back at Anfield.
The visitors may threaten Liverpool’s defense at times although the hosts should have enough attacking flair to secure another victory and continue their climb up the table in what I am betting will be a game with less than 5 goals in total.

TOTTENHAM vs EVERTON
Tottenham have endured a difficult start to the 2026/27 campaign and remain without a victory after three matches. They suffered a heavy 3-0 pumping away to Brentford before losing 2-0 against Newcastle at home.
A goalless draw with Nottingham Forest in the previous round delivered their first point but Spurs are yet to score this season and enter the weekend in 18th position overall.
Everton’s unbeaten opening has earned them five points and 8th place on the standings. They began with a composed 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace before drawing 1-1 away to Bournemouth.
Everton then shared the points with Manchester United in an entertaining 2-2 encounter.
Head-to-Head:
Tottenham have dominated the recent meetings with four victories from the last six meetings. Everton have won once, while the remaining encounter ended level.
Spurs were triumphant across both clashes last season, earning a 3-0 victory away from home before edging Everton 1-0 in the return fixture. Tottenham have also won each of their last three meetings at home.

Tottenham 2.10
Draw 3.65
Everton 3.65
Verdict:
Tottenham’s recent record against Everton is impressive, but their current attacking struggles cannot be ignored. They have failed to score in all three league matches and were beaten in their only previous home fixture.
Everton arrive with higher morale and have already demonstrated that they can compete against dangerous opposition. Their unbeaten start to the campaign and greater attacking threat should give them confidence against a vulnerable Spurs side.
I am expecting the hosts to show improvement in front of their own supporters, but Everton’s early performances suggest they are capable of extending Tottenham’s point-less start.
BET: Everton to win at 3.65

SUNDERLAND vs ARSENAL
Sunderland have made a respectable return of four points from their opening three fixtures. Their season began with a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Ipswich Town before they responded by beating Fulham 1-0 at home.
They followed that victory with a 1-1 draw away to Brentford, leaving them 12th on the table.
Arsenal enter the weekend in 2nd position after winning each of their opening three matches. The reigning champions started with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Coventry City and then earned a controlled 1-0 win away to Aston Villa.
Their perfect record continued with a come from behind 2-1 triumph over Chelsea in the London derby last Sunday. Arsenal have scored six times and conceded only once so far this season.
The Gunners were away to Napoli in the Champions League in midweek winning 1-0.
Head-to-Head:
Arsenal are unbeaten in the last six meetings between the clubs, having won four times and settled for two draws.
The Gunners earned a convincing 3-0 home win in the most recent encounter last season, although Sunderland held them to a 2-2 draw on home soil before that. Notably Arsenal have scored at least three goals in three of the last five meetings.

Sunderland 7.25
Draw 4.50
Arsenal 1.50
Verdict:
Sunderland have responded positively since their opening defeat and should deliver a decent performance on home soil.
Arsenal nevertheless arrive with a perfect record and have already demonstrated their ability to win tight contests. Their defensive organisation has been particularly impressive, with only Chelsea managing to score against them.
I think Sunderland will create chances for themselves throughout the fixture, but Arsenal’s defensive line will be able to shut these opportunities down and win with a clean sheet.
