The English Premier League Title race remains very much alive, although Arsenal are very much in control of their own destiny. We look at three of Saturday’ s fixtures from a betting angle.
Arsenal are currently 1.22 to win the Premier League with Manchester City up to 4.30 after dropping points against Everton.

Liverpool vs Chelsea
Liverpool are currently 4th on the log and saw a 3-match winning run ended when they lost 3-2 away to Manchester United last time out. They have taken 10 points from a possible 12 in their last 4 home games.
Chelsea are 9th on the table and on a terrible run which has seen them lose 6 matches in a row, including going down 3-1 at home to Nottingham earlier in the week, a game where we were on the visitors at 5.00. Chelsea have conceded at least 3 goals in 4 of their last 5 matches.
Head-to-Head
Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 at home in the reverse fixture, but Liverpool have won their last two meetings at Anfield.

Liverpool 1.91
Draw 4.00
Chelsea 3.85
Verdict
I thought Nottingham Forest was value to beat Chelsea on Monday night and while the Liverpool price is very different, I still think that a free-falling Chelsea must be opposed.
BET: Liverpool win at 1.91

Sunderland vs Manchester United
Sunderland are currently 12th on the table, but they have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for. That was last time out, a 1-1 away draw with Wolves and prior to that they were hammered 5-0 at home by Nottingham and lost 4-3 away to Aston Villa in a thriller.
Manchester United have consolidated their 3rd position on the log, and they have won 3 games in a row, including a superb 3-2 home win over Liverpool on Tuesday night. Their last away game was a 1-0 win at Chelsea, and they have only lost one of their last five road trips.
Head-to-Head
United beat Sunderland 2-0 at home in the reverse fixture.

Sunderland 4.00
Draw 3.75
Manchester United 1.91
Verdict
Manchester United can secure 3rd place here while Sunderland are safe from relegation and have nothing much to play for, an away win looks worth the bet at current prices.
BET: Manchester United win at 1.91
Manchester City vs Brentford
Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 13 EPL matches, but they dropped valuable points earlier in the week when they had to come from behind to draw 3-3 with Everton away. That result leaves them 5 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand, but only 4 games left to play.
Brentford are 7th on the log and broke a 6-match run without a victory when they beat West Ham 3-0 at home last time out. Their last away game was a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United and prior to that they drew 5 successive games.
Head-to-Head
These sides met in the EFL Cup earlier this season with Manchester City winning 2-0 at home and they also beat Brentford 1-0 away in the reverse fixture.

Manchester City 1.38
Draw 5.75
Brentford 7.25
Verdict
City will have not given up on the Title race, and I am expecting an aggressive bounce back from them and a victory by more than a goal.
