F1 heads to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps this weekend for the Belgian Grand Prix, a firm favourite of drivers, teams and fans alike.
After a dramatic British GP that saw Charles Leclerc claim a superb win at Silverstone, and with both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships beginning to take clearer shape, all eyes now turn to the Ardennes.
Spa always delivers high-speed drama, changeable weather and one of the most iconic corner sequences in world motorsport in Eau Rouge and Raidillon. With the Mercedes duo still leading the way and Ferrari finding real pace at just the right time, we should be in for a fascinating weekend of racing.
DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Kimi Antonelli continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship on 179 points, but his advantage has been trimmed over recent rounds. George Russell moved up to second with 154 points after Silverstone, with Lewis Hamilton just behind him on 147. Charles Leclerc has closed the gap after his home-crowd-silencing British GP win and now sits on 108, while Lando Norris drops back into fifth on 97 points.
The bookmakers, however, still see Antonelli as the overwhelming favourite for the title at 1.55. Russell is next in at 4.00, followed by Hamilton at 7.00, and both drivers will need results to fall their way to catch the young Italian. Leclerc is available at 34.00 as a genuine outside chance after his Silverstone heroics, while Norris drifts out to 101.00 despite still being mathematically well in the fight.

CONSTRUCTORS CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Mercedes lead the Constructors’ Championship comfortably on 333 points and are priced at just 1.10 to lift the crown at the end of the season, with both of their drivers still fighting for the drivers’ title providing plenty of firepower up front. Ferrari sit second on 255 points and are priced at 6.50 after Leclerc’s superb weekend at Silverstone. McLaren find themselves in third with 179 points and are out at 34.00, while a well-off-the-pace Red Bull Racing rounds things off on 128 points at 67.00.

Last Race – British GP 2026
The British Grand Prix at Silverstone was won brilliantly by Charles Leclerc, who took an emotional victory for Ferrari and closed the gap in the Drivers’ Championship. George Russell came home second on home soil, backing up his Austrian win, with Lewis Hamilton third in the sister Ferrari to complete an all-legends podium. Lando Norris finished fourth for McLaren ahead of the ever-impressive Isack Hadjar in fifth. It was a nightmare weekend for championship leader Kimi Antonelli, who could only manage 15th, while Max Verstappen was forced to retire.
Belgian GP 2025
Last year’s Belgian GP delivered a McLaren one-two, with Oscar Piastri leading home team-mate Lando Norris in what was a superb result for the Woking outfit. Charles Leclerc came home third for Ferrari, showing pace once again on this circuit, with Max Verstappen fourth on home Red Bull soil and George Russell rounding out the top five for Mercedes.
Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most demanding circuits on the entire Formula 1 calendar. At 7.004km it is the longest track of the season, and the flowing high-speed layout through the Ardennes forest is loved by drivers and fans alike. Eau Rouge and Raidillon remain among the most spectacular corner complexes in the sport, testing driver commitment like nowhere else. The unpredictable Belgian weather is often a huge factor in the outcome too, with race conditions capable of changing completely across the length of a single lap. Expect drama and expect the unexpected.

Betting and Verdict:
Charles Leclerc heads into this weekend with the wind firmly in his sails after his superb win at Silverstone last time out, and he looks a hugely tempting bet to back it up here in the Ardennes. The Monegasque has a strong record at Spa, having finished on the podium in third at last year’s Belgian GP, and Ferrari have clearly found some real pace in recent races. At 6.50 he offers real value against the Mercedes pair at the top of the market, and we like him to go back-to-back this weekend.
Suggested bet: Charles Leclerc to win at 6.50

Lando Norris has been quietly impressive over the last few weekends, with a third and a fourth in two of his last three races. On top of that, he had a very strong outing at Spa last year, finishing in second place behind team-mate Piastri. At 17.00 for a top-three finish, we think there is plenty of value in taking him to convert his current form into a podium at a circuit that clearly suits both him and the McLaren.
Suggested Bet: Lando Norris top 3 finish at 17.00
