VEJA HINDA vs GODFREY MKHWANAZI
Bantamweight Catchweight – Main Event:
Veja Hinda holds an unbeaten resume of 2 wins without a loss under the organisation. His opening appearances have produced one knockout and one decision victory, giving him experience in the field of both finishing a contest and lasting the full three rounds.
Hinda stopped Bheki Ngcobo with punches after 2 minutes and 9 seconds of the opening round in June 2026. That followed a unanimous decision victory over Ash Zola on his debut in August 2025 and he now faces his most experienced EFC opponent to date.
Godfrey Mkhwanazi enters this main event with an EFC record of 5 wins and 5 losses. Three of his promotional victories have come by knockout and two by decision, while three submission defeats highlight an area opponents have previously exploited.
Mkhwanazi secured a split decision victory over Clelio Diogo in October after losing to Sithembiso Hadebe by unanimous decision in August. He has now won three of his last four EFC appearances, having previously beaten William Lekana on the scorecards and stopped Allistar Kunene in the second round.

Hinda 1.40
Mkhwanazi 2.80
PREDICTION:
Mkhwanazi’s recent results make this a demanding step up for Hinda especially after his victory over Diogo. However, Hinda has shown he can win over three rounds as well as finish early. I expect a competitive contest with Hinda doing enough to maintain his unbeaten record by decision.

GRANT FARROW vs NASIPHI VELLEM
Lightweight – Co-Main Event:
Grant Farrow enters the co-main event with a tally of 2 wins without a loss inside the EFC. He has recorded one submission and one decision victory, showing his ability to threaten on the ground while also securing a result on the scorecards.
Farrow defeated Alex Kapinga by split decision in August after submitting Itumeleng Mabilo with a rear naked choke on his debut in May. That opening victory took just 1 minute and 45 seconds although his latest appearance proved a considerably closer contest.
Nasiphi Vellem remains unbeaten inside the EFC with a promotional record of 1 win and 1 draw. Both appearances have gone the distance, giving him six rounds of experience inside the cage heading into this contest.
Vellem earned his first victory by defeating Lucky Magekha by unanimous decision in August. That followed a split draw against Alex Kapinga in June and he will be looking to build on that breakthrough result against another unbeaten opponent.

Farrow 3.00
Vellem 1.35
PREDICTION:
Both fighters were closely matched with common opponent Alex Kapinga, which suggests there could be little between them here. Vellem impressed with his latest decision victory but Farrow’s early submission on debut gives him another route to victory. I am backing Farrow to find an opening on the ground and win by submission.
MICKY CLOETE vs SISA JUNGULA
Flyweight – Main Card Bout:
Micky Cloete returns with an EFC record of 5 wins and 2 losses. Four of those victories have come inside the distance with two recorded by knockout and two by submission, alongside one decision win.
Cloete last competed in October 2024, defeating Kelvin Smit by unanimous decision. That followed a third round TKO defeat against Tumelo Manyamala and a second round stoppage victory over Lukhmaan Jhazbhay to leave him with four wins from his last five EFC appearances.
Sisa Jungula steps into the cage having won 3 and lost 3 of his fights since making his debut in 2025. Two of his victories have come by decision and one by knockout, although consecutive defeats have left him looking to regain the form that brought him three wins from his opening four promotional appearances.
Jungula suffered a third round armbar submission defeat against Ntando Zondi in September after losing to Thapelo Seabi by unanimous decision in June. His most recent victory came against Coenie Lamprecht in February, when he edged a split decision over three rounds.

Cloete 3.10
Jungula 1.33
PREDICTION:
Cloete’s lengthy absence creates some uncertainty while Jungula has remained active throughout the year. However, Jungula arrives following successive defeats and was submitted in his latest outing. Cloete’s finishing record makes him the more appealing selection and I am backing him to secure a submission victory on his return.
SUGGESTED BETS:
Mkhwanazi vs Hinda
Hinda by Decision or technical decision at 1.85
Farrow vs Vellem
Farrow to win at 3.00
Cloete vs Jungula
Cloete to win at 3.10
The treble of all 3 bets to land comes in at 17.21
