GILBERT BURNS vs MIKE MALOTT
Welterweight – Main Event:
Gilbert Burns enters this headline bout holding a UFC record of 15 wins and 9 losses. The Brazilian is a highly experienced welterweight with elite grappling credentials and well-rounded striking, having competed against the very best in the division over a long period.
Despite that his recent form has been concerning. He suffered a first-round knockout defeat to Michael Morales in May 2025, following a unanimous decision loss to Sean Brady and a third-round stoppage defeat to Jack Della Maddalena. Prior to that run, he did secure victories over Jorge Masvidal by decision and Neil Magny via submission, showing his ability to compete at a high level.
Mike Malott comes into this fight with a record of 6 wins and 1 loss under the organisation. The Canadian has developed into a well-rounded fighter with a mix of finishing ability and composure.
He most recently secured a unanimous decision victory over Kevin Holland in October 2025 after knocking out Charles Radtke in May 2025 in the second round. Prior to that he defeated Trevin Giles by decision but suffered a knockout loss to Neil Magny in January 2024, which remains his only defeat in the promotion.

PREDICTION:
This is a clash between Burns’ experience and Malott’s momentum. Burns has faced elite opposition but appears to be on a decline based on his recent losses, while Malott is improving and fighting with confidence. If Malott can avoid Burns’ grappling threats early, he should be able to control the fight and outwork him. I am expecting Malott to win by decision.
KYLER PHILLIPS vs CHARLES JOURDAIN
Bantamweight – Co-Main Event:
Kyler Phillips enters the octagon with a UFC resume of 6 wins and 3 losses. The American bantamweight is a dynamic and athletic fighter with strong striking and movement but has struggled for consistency as he has climbed the rankings.
He comes into this fight after back-to-back decision defeats to Vinicius Oliveira and Rob Font. Prior to that he secured consecutive decision wins over Pedro Munhoz and Raoni Barcelos, while also holding victories over Song Yadong and Marcelo Rojo earlier in his career.
Charles Jourdain brings a tally of 8 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw within the institution into this contest. The Canadian is an aggressive and entertaining striker with solid submission ability and he has seen a slight rise in performance level of late.
He comes into the weekend after securing back-to-back submission victories over Davey Grant and Victor Henry. Before that he suffered defeats to Jean Silva by knockout and Sean Woodson by split decision but has shown the ability to bounce back strongly with finishes.

PREDICTION:
This is a competitive matchup with both fighters capable of finishing things early. Phillips offers speed and movement while Jourdain brings aggression and submission threats. Given Jourdain’s current momentum and finishing ability, I am expecting him to edge this contest. I am backing Jourdain to win by submission.

MANDEL NALLO vs JAI HERBERT
Lightweight – Main Card Bout:
Mandel Nallo makes his UFC debut in this bout, therefore he does not yet hold a UFC record. The Canadian prospect has shown explosive finishing ability outside the promotion with five first-round stoppages in a row across various promotions.
Stepping into the UFC presents a significant jump in competition and this will be a major test of his ability at the highest level, although he will come in confident due to earning a first round knockout victory over Samuel Silva when they met in the Dana White Contender Series in September last year.
Jai Herbert arrives at this weekends event with a UFC record of 3 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. The English lightweight is an experienced striker with solid technical ability but has struggled to remain in the winning column throughout his UFC run.
He comes into this fight after a split decision loss to Chris Padilla in March 2025. Prior to that he secured a decision win over Rolando Bedoya but suffered defeats to Farés Ziam and Ilia Topuria, alongside a submission loss to Renato Moicano earlier in his career.

PREDICTION:
Nallo’s finishing ability makes him dangerous but Herbert’s experience inside the octagon could swing parts of the fight in his favour. Herbert has faced tougher opposition and should be better prepared for this level. However, Nallo has been impressive and seems like the fresher fighter and I am backing him to win by knockout.
