ADRIAN SANCHEZ vs BRADLEY SWANEPOEL
EFC Interim Lightweight Championship Fight – Main Event:
Adrian Sanchez enters this headline bout holding an EFC record of 8 wins and 5 losses. The South African veteran has built an impressive career inside the promotion, with victories coming by knockout, submission and decision against experienced opposition.
He last fought in February 2026 where he earned a unanimous decision victory over Jeferson Pereira after previously defeating Mirafzal Akhtamov by doctor stoppage and Elvis Ngwalangwala by first-round TKO. Sanchez has now won four consecutive EFC bouts ensuring he heads into this title fight in pristine condition.
Bradley Swanepoel comes into this title fight with an outstanding resume under the institution of 7 wins and 1 loss. The South African contender has established himself as one of the promotion’s most dangerous grapplers, with five of his seven EFC victories coming by submission.
His latest EFC appearance came in December 2025 where he submitted Sizwe Mnikathi in the first round after previously submitting Robert Simbowe in similar fashion. His only defeat inside the promotion came against Igeu Kabesa in 2022 where he was dropped just 20 seconds after the first bell. Despite that he has proven his talent countless times in the promotion and will be dangerous if the fight hits the canvas.

PREDICTION:
Sanchez brings championship level experience and has faced a consistently high standard of opposition throughout his EFC career. Swanepoel possesses an elite submission game and has shown the ability to finish fights quickly on the ground. That said I see Swanepoel’s grapple heavy style taking over and I believe he will be able to get a submission finish in the later rounds.

SITHEMBISO HADEBE vs GODFREY MKHWANAZI
Flyweight – Co-Main Event:
Sithembiso Hadebe enters this contest with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss inside the organisation. The South African flyweight has looked composed since making his debut in 2023, picking up back-to-back decision victories over Moses Mokhari and Sibusiso Sovendle in that year.
Since then he has fought abroad in the UAE Warriors promotion and although he lost his last fight by split decision against Alfredo Muaiad, he had previously defeated Mahmoud Atef via knockout in the second round.
Godfrey Mkhwanazi comes into this bout with an EFC record of 4 wins and 4 losses. The experienced bantamweight has produced several strong performances inside the institution and he will be determined to continue his short winning run with a triumph this Thursday.
His latest EFC outing came in June 2026 where he defeated William Lekana by unanimous decision after previously stopping Allistar Kunene in the second round. Despite his inconsistent record, Mkhwanazi enters with momentum and seems to have found his feet at a crucial time.

PREDICTION:
Hadebe has shown excellent composure and technical ability in his EFC victories and has consistently managed fights well over three rounds. Mkhwanazi is dangerous and carries more finishing experience but Hadebe’s movement and discipline should allow him to edge the striking exchanges and I am expecting Hadebe to secure another decision victory.
ADEI VOLKER vs JOEL TIFFO
Middleweight – Main Card Bout:
Adei Volker enters the cage with a perfect tally of 2 wins without a loss in the EFC. The South African contender has made an immediate impact in the promotion, showcasing strong finishing ability and confidence in both of his appearances.
His latest outing came in April 2026 where he stopped Wallace Okosso by first-round knockout which followed a victory over Alexander Suzuki via disqualification. Volker has looked explosive early in his fights and will no doubt come out throwing hard here.
Joel Tiffo steps into the WSB Arena on Thursday to make his official EFC debut. Although he has competed professionally outside the promotion, this will be a significant step up against an unbeaten prospect.
His most recent fight came in March 2026 where he suffered a decision defeat to Josiah Obasi at Versus Fight Night 18 while prior to this he settled for a decision loss against Memom Kone under the AKO organisation late last year.

Tiffo 3.80
PREDICTION:
Volker has looked extremely dangerous in his EFC showings and has already demonstrated the precision to finish opponents early. Tiffo brings experience outside the promotion but making a successful EFC debut against an in form fighter is a difficult assignment. I expect Volker to control the fight from the outset and secure a stoppage victory in the opening two rounds after frequently testing Tiffo’s chin.
