Saturday
Bologna v Inter
Bologna have made a difficult start to their Serie A campaign and currently sit 14th in the standings with five points from six matches.
They have recorded one victory, two draws and three defeats, scoring five goals and conceding seven.
Bologna suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Lazio, while their away matches against Atalanta and Napoli also ended in 1-0 losses. Their two home draws were a 2-2 result against Sassuolo and a 1-1 stalemate with Torino.
Their most recent outing was far more encouraging, with Bologna recording a 2-1 away victory over Lecce. They will be hoping to build on that result, although they face a difficult challenge against the league leaders.
Inter sit at the top of the standings with 16 points from six matches, having recorded five victories and one draw.
They have scored 18 goals and conceded eight, making them comfortably the more productive attacking side of the two.
Inter’s latest result was an impressive 3-0 home victory over Parma. Their only dropped points came in a 2-2 away draw against Roma.
They have produced several high-scoring performances this season, beating Udinese 5-3, Napoli 3-2 and Monza 4-1. Inter also recorded a 1-0 away victory against Cagliari.
Head-to-Head
Inter have won two of the last five Serie A meetings between the teams, while Bologna have recorded one victory and the other two matches have ended in draws.
The sides also met in the Super Cup in December 2025. That encounter finished 1-1 after normal time, with Bologna winning the subsequent penalty shoot-out 3-2.

Bologna 5.50
Draw 4.25
Inter 1.61
Verdict
Inter are the preferred selection following their excellent start to the season and impressive attacking displays.
The league leaders have scored 18 goals in six matches, while Bologna’s two home draws have both seen the opposition find the net. Inter should create enough opportunities to collect the three points, and their scoring form makes the combined win-and-goals market more attractive than the short-priced away victory.

AS Roma v Genoa
Roma are third in the standings with 14 points from six matches, having recorded four victories and two draws.
They have scored 14 goals and conceded only three, giving them one of the strongest defensive records in the league.
Roma’s latest result was a goalless draw away to Como, while their other draw was a 2-2 home encounter against Inter.
They have also recorded a 2-0 away victory over Torino and a 2-1 home win against Atalanta, together with convincing 4-0 victories away to Lecce and at home to Fiorentina.
Genoa sit 17th in the standings with four points from six matches. They have recorded one victory, one draw and four defeats, scoring five goals and conceding 11.
Their latest result was a 2-1 home victory over Fiorentina. Before that, they suffered away defeats against Parma, Como and Lazio, as well as a 2-0 home loss to Napoli.
Genoa’s only draw was a 1-1 home result against Frosinone.
Head-to-Head
Roma have won three of the last six meetings between the sides across all competitions, while Genoa have recorded two victories and the remaining match ended in a draw.
Genoa won the most recent encounter 2-1 at home in March 2026, while Roma claimed a 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture in December 2025.

AS Roma 1.40
Draw 5.25
Genoa 8.00
Verdict
Roma’s defensive record, stronger overall form and greater attacking threat make them worthy favourites.
The hosts have conceded only three goals in six matches, while Genoa have scored just five times and have already suffered three away defeats. With the straight Roma victory priced below our minimum threshold, I prefer the home side to win without conceding.

Juventus 1.71
Draw 4.00
Lazio 5.25
Verdict
Juventus have home advantage, but Lazio’s excellent start makes them dangerous opponents.
The visitors remain unbeaten and have conceded only four goals in six league matches. Juventus have also been difficult to beat, particularly at home, where they have taken seven points from their opening three matches.
There appears to be little separating the sides, and I am going to have a stab at the draw.
