SUNDAY:
Orlando Pirates vs Kaizer Chiefs – click here to bet
Orlando Pirates are currently top of the table with 58 points from 25 matches. They have recorded eighteen victories, four draws and just three defeats while registering 50 goals and allowing only 11 to hit their net.
Their recent form has been strong. Pirates dismantled AmaZulu 3-0 in their latest outing after a disappointing 2-2 draw away to Richards Bay, which followed a commanding 5-0 triumph over Golden Arrows. They have been particularly ruthless in attack while maintaining a very tight defensive structure.
Kaizer Chiefs sit 3rd on the standings with 46 points from 24 matches. They have secured thirteen wins, seven draws and four losses, finding the net 28 times while shipping 14. Chiefs have shown consistency, particularly in defence but are not as explosive going forward as their rivals.
They come into this clash in solid form. Chiefs played out a 0-0 draw with Polokwane City in their most recent match after a convincing 4-1 win over Magesi, which followed a 2-0 victory against TS Galaxy. Their backline has been reliable, but they tend struggle to struggle against top tier opposition.
Head-to-Head:
Pirates have had the edge lately, including a convincing 3-0 victory earlier this season and they also picked up 2-1 and 1-0 scorelines when the sides met last campaign.
This fixture has not been drawn in the last 13 PSL renewals.
Odds: Orlando Pirates 1.61 | Draw 3.85 | Kaizer Chiefs 6.50
Verdict:
Orlando Pirates come into this encounter with momentum and the knowledge that they cannot afford to slip up in the title race, the latter which may play on their nerves. While Kaizer Chiefs are disciplined defensively and Pirates firepower and recent dominance in this fixture must be noted I am backing the run of games without a draw to end.
Bet: The draw at 3.85

Richards Bay vs Mamelodi Sundowns – click here to bet
Richards Bay are positioned 10th on the log with 30 points from 25 matches. They have managed seven wins, nine draws and suffered nine defeats while scoring 21 goals and conceding 27, indicating a side that can compete but lacks consistency.
Their recent form has been encouraging. Richards Bay edged TS Galaxy 1-0 in their latest match after a 2-2 draw with Orlando Pirates, which followed a 2-1 victory over Stellenbosch. They have shown resilience and an ability to grind out results as they have pulled themselves clear of the relegation zone.
Mamelodi Sundowns occupy 2nd place overall with 57 points from 24 matches. They have registered seventeen wins, six draws and just one defeat, accumulating 43 goals while conceding only 13.
They come into this fixture in strong form. Sundowns played out a 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch in their most recent action in midweek, after a narrow 1-0 win over Durban City and a dominant 4-1 victory against Chippa United. The Stellenbosch game broke a run of 10 successive league victories. Their attacking unit continues to deliver while the defence remains tight heading into the business end of the tournament.
Head-to-Head:
Mamelodi Sundowns have completely dominated this fixture, winning all of the last ten meetings between the sides, including a 4-1 victory earlier this season.
Odds: Richards Bay 7.00 | Draw 4.00 | Mamelodi Sundowns 1.56
Verdict:
While Richards Bay have shown improvement in recent weeks, Mamelodi Sundowns remain a class above. Their superior consistency and outstanding record in this matchup make them clear favourites and I see them claiming victory without much trouble.
Bet: Mamelodi Sundowns to Win and Over 1.5 Goals at 2.05
