They come into this fixture after a narrow 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid, which followed a strong run of results including a 1-0 win over Getafe, a 3-2 victory over Real Sociedad and a 1-0 away win at Oviedo.
Barcelona lead the LaLiga standings with 73 points from 29 games and have been the standout side this season. Their attack has been exceptional, registering 78 goals while giving up just 28 at the back.
Their latest action was in the form of a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, which followed a dominant 5-2 victory over Sevilla, a 1-0 away win at Athletic Bilbao and a 4-1 triumph over Villarreal to extend their unbeaten run to five matches in a row.

Barcelona won the league meeting earlier this season 3-1, although Atletico secured a heavy 4-0 win in their most recent home meeting between the sides during the Copa Del Rey Cup 2026.
