Tottenham
Tottenham currently sit at the bottom of the table and remain in search of their first English Premier League victory of the season.
They drew 1-1 away to Manchester United last time out, having previously suffered a 3-2 home defeat against Aston Villa.
Spurs have struggled in front of goal, scoring only three times in their opening six league matches while conceding nine.
Coventry
Coventry occupy 16th position on the table. After losing their opening four matches, they have staged a recovery by winning their last two.
Their most recent outing produced an impressive 4-1 home victory over Newcastle, while they had previously beaten Nottingham 1-0 on the road.
Coventry have scored five goals and conceded 11 in their six league matches.
Head-to-Head
The sides last met in the EFL Cup during the 2024/25 season, with Tottenham recording a 2-1 victory at Coventry.
Their previous meeting came back in 2013, meaning there is very little relevant head-to-head form on which to rely.

Verdict
Tottenham start as short-priced favourites, but it is difficult to back them with any confidence based on their form this season.
Coventry arrive with renewed confidence after successive victories, including an emphatic win over Newcastle. The visitors should therefore be capable of making life difficult for a Tottenham side still searching for its first league victory.
The draw looks a big runner at 5.00. I am also expecting goalmouth action in a match both teams will be desperate to win, which brings several bigger-priced alternatives into consideration:
