BRIGHTON vs CHELSEA
Brighton sit 9th on the table with 47 points from 33 matches and have produced a solid and competitive campaign. They have recorded twelve wins, eleven draws and ten defeats while registering 45 goals and giving away 39 and 13 of their 33 matches have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers.
Their recent form has been impressive. They played out a 2-2 draw away to Tottenham in their latest outing, while prior to that they secured a 2-0 victory over Burnley and claimed a 2-1 home win against Liverpool.
Chelsea occupy 6th position with 48 points from 33 fixtures and remain in contention for European places. They have managed thirteen wins, nine draws and eleven defeats, scoring 53 goals while conceding 42, showing clear attacking quality but occasional lapses at the back. 21 of Chelseas 33 games has reached the 3 goal mark or more.
Their recent performances have been concerning. They come into this clash after a 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United, having previously suffered a heavy 3-0 loss against Manchester City and a 3-0 defeat away to Everton and they have now lost 4 league games in a row.
Head-to-Head
Recent meetings between the sides have favoured Brighton. They have won the three most recent encounters, including a 3-1 away victory earlier this season and a 3-0 home win in February 2025, while Chelsea’s most recent success came in a 4-2 home victory during the 2024 campaign.
The last 6 head to heads have seen at least 3 goals scored with 3 of those 6 matches reaching at least 4 goals.

Verdict
Brighton come into this fixture in far stronger form and have been consistent both in attack and defence over recent weeks. Their ability to create chances while remaining relatively organised at the back gives them a clear edge heading into this clash.
Chelsea on the other hand, are enduring a difficult run of results and have struggled to find the back of the net while conceding regularly. Unless there is a significant turnaround, they may find it difficult to cope with an in form, Brighton side.
