The final round of World Cup Group F matches takes place on Thursday and we look at both games from a betting angle.
Canada cannot progress from Group F, but it is very competitive between the other 3 teams and the Croatia v Belgium game is going to be massive.
Morocco look the best placed to progress and they are currently level at the top of the table on 4 points with Croatia, but play bottom of the table, Canada, a win or a draw would see them through.
Croatia may currently be top of the table, but they play against Belgium who are a point behind them so Croatia would progress with a draw and with Morocco quite likely to beat Canada, Belgium most likely have to go for the win in order to qualify.
Croatia are the 9/10 favourites to win the Group ahead of Morocco 2/1 and Belgium at 11/4.
CANADA v MOROCCO
Canada have lost both their opening games, going down 1-0 to Belgium in their opener before been hammered 4-1 by Croatia despite the fact that they took the lead in the 2nd minute.
Morocco opened their campaign with a goalless draw against Croatia before stunning Belgium to win 2-0 and Morocco could have been backed at 33/10 before the match and they were tipped at slightly below that price in this blog.
These sides met in a friendly International in 2016 with Morocco winning comfortably 4-0.

Suggested Bet: Morocco win at 23/20
Morocco have it all to play for and they have really impressed me in this Tournament, that victory over Belgium was no fluke. I am very surprised to be getting comfortably above even money here and I am happy to make it one of my better bets on the card.

CROATIA v BELGIUM
Croatia came from behind to beat Canada 4-1 in their last match and they were previously held to a tight goalless draw by Morocco. They are 1 point ahead of Belgium and only need to draw this game to progress to the last 16.
Belgium’s campaign got off to a steady but unspectacular start with a 1-0 win over Canada, however they were then stunned 2-0 by Morocco, a result which means they have to chase a victory in this game.
These sides met in a friendly in 2021 with Belgium winning 1-0 and they also met in qualifying for World Cup 2014 with Belgium winning in Croatia and their home game finishing 1-1.

Suggested Bet: High Scoring Half, Second-Half at 21/20
I think this is going to be a game that starts off in cagey fashion as while Belgium needs to go for the win, they also don’t want to concede early and give themselves a really tough task. In the second-half though things are bound to open up and it is here where I think we will get the goals.
