The final fields for Saturday’s World Sports Betting SA Derby, Wilgerbosdrift HF Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes, and Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks were announced on Tuesday.
Billy Bowlegs, who finished 3rd in the WSB SA Classic, heads the early betting to win the R1.5 million World Sports Betting SA Derby. The field of 11 includes WSB Gauteng Guineas winner Eye Of The Prophet, who will yet again be partnered again by Rachel Venniker at Turffontein.
World Sports Betting SA Classic winner Anfields Rocket takes his place in the Wilgerbosdrift HF Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes, and Bless My Stars bids to double up in the Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks.
