There are 4 DSTV Premiership matches taking place on Saturday and we take a look at each game from a betting angle.
Golden Arrows v SuperSport United – Click here to bet
Arrows currently sit 10th on the table with just 4 wins in their opening 14 games. Last time out they lost 2-0 at home to Kaizer Chiefs in their only game since returning from the International break.
SuperSport United are up to 2nd on the table, 7 points behind Mamelodi Sundowns and they have won 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 games. They beat Cape Town City 1-0 on the road last time out and in their return to action after the World Cup break beat Marumo Gallants also by 1-0.
I am going to use the head-to-head form for my bet here. The last two games these sides have played have had goals in them, 5 and 4 respectively to be precise and I am going to take over 2.5 goals here and hope that we get a repeat.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 27/20
Marumo Gallants v Maritzburg United – Click here to bet
Marumo Gallants are currently 14th on the log and they have lost both their games since returning to action away at SuperSport United and Sekhukhune.
Maritzburg United are rock bottom of the table in 16th position with just 2 wins in 14 matches. They have lost their last 3 games in succession and haven’t won a game in their last 7. Their only match since the World Cup break was a 2-1 home defeat to TS Galaxy.
Both of these sides are struggling and it is no surprise to see the draw trading as short as 18/10. I am going to stick my neck out at a bigger price though and go for a correct score goalless draw.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score 0-0 at 15/4

Cape Town City v Orlando Pirates – Click here to bet
Cape Town City are currently 11th on the log and since returning to action they have beaten Royal Am at home but lost at home to SuperSport United.
They face Orlando Pirates, 5th on the log, Pirates have lost two in a row in the League including their return to action 2-0 away at Mamelodi Sundowns.
5 of the 14 Cape Town City games have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers, but had you been taking that bet in Orlando Pirates matches you would be broke as not one of their games has reached the 3 goal mark this season.
I am not really going to be able to justify this bet other than to say I cannot believe that a side can go 14 games without any of them reaching 3 goals and surely that run has to be broken. Prior to their last match, Cape Town City had 3 successive games with 3 goals in them and I am going to be on the overs here.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 33/20
Kaizer Chiefs v Sekhukhune – Click here to bet
Kaizer Chiefs are currently 4th on the log and they have just had the one game since returning to action after the World Cup break beating Golden Arrows 2-0 on the road on New Year’s Eve.
They face a Sekhukhune side currently 12th on the log, but coming off a 3-2 home win over Marumo Gallants, their second match after returning to action with their first been a goalless draw at home to AmaZulu.
Kaizer Chiefs look to have found some form and I must admit to being surprised that we are getting even money about a home win here.
Suggested Bet: Chiefs win at 19/20
