Aquila Boxing Promotions returns to Sandton with Knockout Chaos 2, another action packed evening set for The Galleria Events Venue on Saturday the 25th of July.
Following the success of the inaugural event, the promotion once again brings together established contenders and exciting prospects, with the unique Knockout Clock adding extra incentive for fighters to finish the job early and earn valuable bonuses.
In first Knockout Chaos, 5 of the 8 fights ended early with fighters pocketing bonuses ranging from R5,000 to R30,000.

LINDOKUHLE KHUZWAYO vs SABELO NDWANDWE
IBO All Africa Featherweight Title – Main Event (10 Rounds):
Lindokuhle Khuzwayo heads into the main event with an unbeaten professional record of 7 wins and 1 draw, establishing himself as one of South Africa’s most promising featherweight prospects. The hard hitting striker boasts five knockout victories and has continued to impress with his aggressive approach and ability to finish fights.
Khuzwayo was last seen in November where he produced an impressive second-round stoppage victory over Rilwan Lawal following a majority draw against Jeff Magagane earlier in the year. Prior to that he picked up convincing decision wins over Lucky Hobyane and Sonwabile Marenene while also stopping Bonwabile Mnyungula in two rounds.
Sabelo Ndwandwe comes into this contest with a perfect record of 4 wins from 4 fights. Although still relatively inexperienced as a professional, Ndwandwe has shown excellent composure beyond his 22 years, winning three straight decisions before recording his first stoppage victory with a fifth-round TKO over Khotso Ramabolu in March.
Ndwandwe has displayed solid technical boxing skills and good ring discipline throughout his short career but this represents by far the toughest assignment he has faced. Taking on an unbeaten opponent with significantly more professional experience will provide a major test of his credentials.

PREDICTION:
Both fighters enter unbeaten but Khuzwayo’s greater experience and proven knockout ability should prove decisive. Ndwandwe has shown plenty of promise and could enjoy success early with his technical approach, however I expect Khuzwayo to gradually break him down before securing a stoppage in the later rounds.
KAINE FOURIE vs FARADAY MUKANDILA
Welterweight Bout – Co-Main Event (6 Rounds):
Kaine Fourie returns to the ring after bouncing back in style at Knockout Chaos 1 where he stopped Bilal Johnson in the third round. The Gauteng fighter now owns a record of 12 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws, with ten of those victories coming inside the distance.
Fourie remains one of South Africa’s most exciting offensive fighters, applying relentless pressure and carrying genuine knockout power throughout the fight. Prior to defeating Johnson he suffered a setback against Claudio Daneff but he has consistently shown the ability to respond strongly after defeats, collecting several stoppage victories over quality domestic opposition during 2025.
Faraday Mukandila brings a record of 7 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw into this contest. The experienced Congolese boxer has mixed results throughout his career and has struggled against higher level opposition, suffering defeats in three of his last four outings with two being via stoppage and his latest win coming in 2022.
Although Mukandila possesses respectable power with four knockout victories, his recent inactivity and inconsistent form raise concerns heading into this matchup. Against a pressure fighter like Fourie, he will need to produce one of the best performances of his career to remain competitive.

PREDICTION:
Fourie’s relentless pressure, superior momentum and proven finishing ability make him a deserved favourite. Mukandila has enough experience to survive the opening few exchanges but due to his struggle to find form over the years I am backing Fourie to get this done comfortably in the opening couple of rounds.
GARY VAN STADEN vs NICLAS KASONGO NZENGU
Super Middleweight Bout (6 Rounds):
23 year old Gary Van Staden continues his rapid rise after improving his record to 4-0 as a professional. The unbeaten South African has already collected two knockout victories while showing maturity and composure beyond his experience.
Van Staden was impressive at Knockout Chaos 1 where he stopped Mxolisi Lahliwe inside two rounds after previously recording victories over Ali Patsho Sambi, Katleho Mabaso and Seth Van Aswegen.
Niclas Kasongo Nzengu enters the bout with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses. The Congolese boxer has struggled for consistency in recent times and arrives on the back of consecutive stoppage defeats to Jason Medi and Leo Careri.
While Nzengu has demonstrated toughness throughout his career and owns a stoppage victory over Martin Maswanganyi, he has found it difficult to compete against stronger fighters and now faces another unbeaten prospect with momentum firmly on his side.

PREDICTION:
Van Staden has looked increasingly impressive with every outing and appears ready for another statement victory. Nzengu’s durability may allow him to compete early but I expect the unbeaten South African to land the cleaner, more powerful shots before producing another stoppage win early on.
