After a week’s break MotoGP returns this weekend as the grid heads to Qatar and the Lusail International Circuit for the Qatar GP. We will take a look at this week’s race from a betting angle and offer up suggested bets for you to consider.
PREVIOUS RACE – GRAND PRIX OF THE AMERICAS
Last week’s race saw Francesco Bagnaia grab his first win of the season, beating Alex Marquez who finished second and Di Giannantonio who finished third.
Marc Marquez started in pole position and got the fastest lap.
CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Akex Marquez currently leads the championship on 87 points followed by Marc Marquez on 86 points. Bagnaia is sitting on 75 points.
Marc Marquez is trading at 1.20 to win the world championship while the bookies have Bagnaia at 4.50. Alex Marquez is trading at 10.00 which to my eye looks decent value .

VERDICT
Bagnaia is coming off the back of a win at the Grand Prix of the Americas. He also finished fourth and third in his two races before that and he also manged to win the race in Qatar last year so he ticks both the current form and track form boxes.
Suggested Bet: Francesco Bagnaia to win at 4.50.
More markets will be available closer to the start.
