DURBAN SUPER GIANTS
The Durban Super Giants have played two matches with one victory and a no result. The victory came first up in their home game against the Pretoria Capitals on Friday. The Giants won the toss and chose to bat scoring 209 for 4 off their 20 overs. Kane Williamson, making his T20 debut in South Africa, played a steady knock scoring 60 not out off 40 balls.
The Giants looked in all sorts of trouble as the Pretoria Capitals openers raced to a 150 in quick time, but some excellent spin bowling managed to pin them back and in the end it was the Giants who won by 2 runs. Noor Ahmad was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 34 off his 4 overs.
Unfortunately the rematch between the sides at Centurion on Sunday was called off without a ball been bowled.
JOBURG SUPER KINGS
The Joburg Super Kings have only played 1 game and that was at home to MI Cape Town on Saturday in Match 4. The Kings won the toss and elected to field on a day where there had been plenty of rain about and they had MI Cape Town in all sorts of trouble at 30 for 4 in the 9th over. MI Cape Town managed to get to 140 for 6 in their 20 overs and there were two runouts with the bowlers splitting the wickets. Pick of the bowlers in my opinion was veteran, David Wiese who got 1 for 19 off his four overs.
The Super Kings chase was rain interrupted and when play stopped for the final time they were 82 for 3 after 11.3 overs which was good enough for a 6 run victory according to DLS. Faf du Plessis was top bat with 30 off 23 at the top of the order.

Durban Super Giants 15/20
Joburg Super Kings 23/20
I was really impressed by the Super Kings fight to beat MI Cape Town, but I think that a stacked Durban Super Giants team will prove too strong in Durban.
BET: Durban Super Giants win at 15/20
There were 17 sixes in Durban on Friday night and the current sixes line is 14.5. The bet I prefer though is the Durban Super Giants to get 8 sixes and more at 17/20. They only managed 5 against the Pretoria Capitals, but then big hitting Heinrich Klaasen went for a rare duck on that occasion.
BET: Durban Super Giants, Total Sixes over 7.5 at 17/20
Kane Williamson was the Top Bat for DSG on Friday, but it looks like they are going to be using him in an anchor role rotating strike and giving other players the opportunity to hit out. This makes him a big runner in the DSG Top Bat market and I am expecting the experienced International to go well again.
BET: DSG Top Batter, Kane Williamson at 5/2
