CARLOS ULBERG vs DOMINICK REYES
Light Heavyweight – Main Event
Carlos Ulberg has been on a tear through the 205lbs division and he has fought 9 times under the organisation of which he has won 8 and lost 1. Representing New Zealand, Ulberg has built his reputation on explosive striking, polished technique, and a patient approach inside the Octagon.
He comes into this contest riding an eight-fight winning streak, with standout victories over Alonzo Menifield and former title challenger Jan Blachowicz who he beat by decision in his most recent fight. Ulberg has proven himself both as a knockout threat and as someone capable of handling drawn out battles, making him a serious contender in the division.
Dominick Reyes is no stranger to high profile main events, and the American possesses a career within the UFC dating back to 2017 with a resume that includes title fights against Jon Jones and Jan Blachowicz.
After enduring a tough stretch earlier in his career, Reyes has bounced back impressively with three consecutive stoppage victories in the last 18 months, and after beating Nikita Krylov in the first round when they met in April, his record stands at 9-3.
Reyes remains a powerful and athletic striker, and when he is in rhythm, he can overwhelm opponents with his pace and shot selection causing brutal damage.

Ulberg 1.40
Reyes 3.10
PREDICTION:
This is a fascinating clash of form and experience. Reyes has rediscovered his confidence and finishing power, but Ulberg’s consistency and tactical approach make him very difficult to break down. I expect Ulberg to manage the range well and eventually find an opening for a knockout finish in the middle rounds.

JIMMY CRUTE vs IVAN ERSLAN
Light Heavyweight – Co-Main Event
Jimmy Crute, fighting out of Australia, enters with a record of 5 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws under the organisation. Known for his well-balanced style, Crute has been a familiar face in the light heavyweight division for over seven years.
He is coming off a strong showing in July, where he submitted Marcin Prachnio in the first round to get back into the win column. That result showed flashes of the finishing instincts that marked his early UFC run, and in front of his home crowd in Perth, Crute will be eager to build momentum after a few years of shaky form.
Ivan Erslan, representing Croatia, currently holds a professional record of 14 wins and 5 losses, though his UFC tenure has been a difficult start. He has dropped both of his Octagon appearances to date, a split decision loss to Ion Cutelaba in September 2024 during his debut and a unanimous decision defeat to Navajo Stirling in May 2025 when he most recently fought.
Despite these setbacks, Erslan has proven durable, going the distance in both contests against his opposition and his style is rooted in pressure striking and toughness. Although he is still chasing his first UFC victory, his ability to stay competitive suggests he can pose questions for Crute if given the chance to dictate the stand-up exchanges.

Crute 1.50
Erslan 2.75
PREDICTION:
Crute’s advantage on the ground is clear, and with Erslan yet to notch a UFC win, the Australian enters as the rightful favourite. That said, Erslan’s durability means he may be able to extend this fight longer than expected but I believe Crute should be able to impose his grappling and eventually find an opening, and I am backing him to take a submission victory inside the distance.
JACK JENKINS vs RAMON TAVERAS
Featherweight – Main Card Bout
Jack Jenkins, another Australian talent, enters this bout with a UFC record of 3 wins and 2 losses. Jenkins is a durable and technically sound striker who can be seen grappling as well. Known for his ability to work over opponents with leg kicks and a steady pace, Jenkins will look to use his experience and local support to his advantage to make up for his 3rd round submission loss to Gabriel Santos in February.
Ramon Taveras, representing the USA, possesses a record of 10 wins and 3 losses, however he has fought only twice in the UFC and holds a record of 1-1. Despite this, Taveras is a rising name in the division, showcasing explosive bursts of striking power and a willingness to press the action. While comes into this weekend as the less experienced fighter at this level, he has already proven he can deliver when necessary and is eager to establish himself as a contender after his decision loss to Davey Grant in December.

Jenkins 1.35
Taveras 3.38
PREDICTION:
Taveras, as the underdog should not be overlooked due to his striking aggression, but Jenkins’ composure, consistency, and technical depth should see him through. I expect Jenkins to outpoint Taveras across three rounds and secure a decision win here.
SUGGESTED BETS:
Ulberg vs Reyes
Ulberg by knockout at 1.72
Crute vs Erslan
Crute by submission at 3.38
Jenkins vs Taveras
Jenkins by decision at 2.15
