JAILTON ALMEIDA V DERRICK LEWIS
Heavyweight Main Event:
Jailton Almeida is a Brazilian fighter who is well known for his ability in boxing and he is also lethal on the canvas. Since entering the UFC he has won all 5 of his fights with 2 being via TKO/KO and 3 being by submission. His most recent win was a round 1 submission on Jairzinho Rosenstruik in May this year.
Almeida is eager to climb the division rankings and he enters the octagon as the betting favourite this weekend.
Derrick Lewis is an American fighter who is known for his stopping power, currently sitting with the most KOs in the UFC. He was pulled into this fight on short notice after Blaydes pulled out and although he is the underdog, Lewis will still be hungry for the win.
Lewis has been in poor form prior to this fight, losing 3 out of his last 5 bouts however he last fought in July where he beat Marcos Rogerio De Lima via KO in just over 30 seconds of round 1, giving him some confidence.

Almeida (1/5)
Lewis (15/4)
Prediction:
I believe that Almeida will be able to weather the early blows that Lewis lands and he will drop Lewis to the canvas eventually, winning via submission.

GABRIEL BONFIM V NICOLAS DALBY
Welterweight Bout:
Gabriel Bonfim, fighting out of Brazil is an expert in the field of grappling and he is known for his various types of submissions he uses on his opponents. He has won both of his fights in the UFC so far, with both being by submission.
His most recent fight in July ended in an early round 1 submission win. Bonfim is eager to climb the rankings and he enters the fight with the odds in his favour.
Nicolas Dalby is a Danish fighter who is well known for his stamina and since re-entering the UFC all his fights have gone the distance. He has been in good form as of late, winning his 3 most recent fights, all by decision.
His most recent encounter with Muslim Salikhov in July this year ended with Dalby victorious, and he will look to continue this winning streak he is currently on, with an upset win.

Bonfim (1/6)
Dalby (9/2)
Prediction:
I believe that Bonfim will come out all guns blazing, especially with the odds being stacked heavily in his favour, putting pressure on him to win. I think he will take Dalby by a late Submission.
RODRIGO NASCIMENTO V DON’TALE MAYES
Heavyweight Bout:
Nascimento is well known for his ability in the field of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he is on good form having won all 3 of his recent fights leading up to this bout. His last fight ended in a decision win in May this year.
He will enter this fight as a slight favourite on the night.
Mayes is a fighter known for his boxing skills but he has been on shaky form of late, with his last 3 fights ending in a win, a draw and a no contest. His most recent fight however was a win that he picked up by TKO in June this year.
Mayes enters the octagon as the dark horse and he will have to apply pressure through big strikes, hoping that one knocks his opponent out.
