BRIAN ORTEGA vs DIEGO LOPES
Featherweight Co-Main Event:
Brian Ortega is an American fighter who fights with a well-balanced style and he has nearly a decade of UFC experience to his name. Despite being in the UFC since 2014, he hasn’t fought too often but he has built a decent career record of 8 wins, 3 losses and 1 no contest.
He has only fought once since he lost to Yair Rodriguez by TKO in round 1 in 2022, however his most recent fight was also against Rodriguez, where Ortega won the revenge bout by submission in round 3 back in February.
Diego Lopes, fighting out of Brazil is a fighter known for his effective striking and wresting on the canvas. He is relatively new to the UFC, with just 4 fights. After losing his debut fight, he quickly turned his form and he has won his next 3 fights.
The last time he fought was at UFC 300, where he clashed with Sodiq Yussuff and impressively made light work of his opponent, winning the fight by TKO in round 1.
