Bantamweight Title Bout:
Sean O’Malley is an American fighter who is known for his clean and effective striking, he made his debut in the UFC in 2018 and since then he has won 8 of his 10 fights, drawing 1 and his only loss being to Marlon Vera the first time they met in 2020.
O’Malley’s last fight was against Aljamain Sterling, where he dropped him in round 2, claiming the division title at UFC 292 by TKO. He will enter the fight with the betting odds in his favour.
Marlon Vera is a fighter from Ecuador who is know as a veteran in the sport with over 9 years of experience after joining the UFC in 2014. Vera has had plenty of fights in his career and he holds a record of 15-7 in his 22 fights.
His last fight was against Pedro Munhoz where he won by unanimous decision in August last year when he fought on the same card as O’Malley at UFC 292. Although he won the first encounter between the 2 of them, he will be looking for the upset win on this occasion.
