BOYD ALLEN vs VINCE BEMBE
Featherweight Main Event:
Boyd Allen, a veteran of South African MMA, returns to the EFC cage with a professional record of 13 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. Fighting out of Johannesburg, the former featherweight champion is known for his composure, smooth boxing, and slick submission skills.
His last EFC appearance came prior to a boxing spell, where he beat Bruno Mukulu by decision in 2021 and he now re-enters the cage looking to once again claim his place among the elite. Allen’s ability to mix striking and grappling seamlessly, combined with his fight IQ, makes him the favourite heading into this clash.
Vince Bembe holds a record of 8 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw and a no contest under the institution and comes in as one of the division’s most explosive athletes. Fighting out of Pretoria, Bembe is known for his fast starts and knockout power, with most of his victories coming inside the distance.
However, his recent form has been inconsistent and he was stopped in the opening round by Demba Seck at Impact Championship 6. Before that he took on Musa Sethwape at EFC 124 where he won by decision to end a three-fight long winless streak.

Allen 1.85
Bembe 1.85
PREDICTION:
Allen’s experience and composure should allow him to control the pace and find openings on the mat. I’m predicting a round 2 submission win for Allen.
NDIDI ALONU vs ZIKO MAKENGELE
Welterweight Co-Main Event:
Ndidi Alonu enters this clash with an EFC record of 3-0, currently ranked inside the top 5 at welterweight in South Africa. Fighting out of Nigeria, Alonu has developed a reputation for technical striking, solid takedown defence, and precise finishing ability.
He enters this bout riding a three-fight winning streak, including a third-round TKO over Ziko Makengele in November last year. His improved cage control and composure have positioned him as one of the division’s top contenders.
Ziko Makengele, fighting out of Pretoria, carries a record of 5 wins and 2 losses within the organisation. He made his name with quick finishes and aggressive forward pressure, and he enters this rematch eager for redemption after suffering a TKO defeat to Alonu in their last meeting.
Makengele rebounded well in August with a first-round knockout win over Wallace Okosso at EFC 126, proving he remains a potent threat in the opening exchanges. He will look to use his explosiveness and athleticism to turn the tables this time around.

Alonu 1.25
Makengele 3.60
PREDICTION:
Alonu’s precision and patience should again pay off against Makengele’s early aggression. I believe Alonu wins this via round 2 knockout.
STEVEN GONCALVES vs GUIDE MOYO
Featherweight Main Card Fight:
Steven Goncalves possesses a professional record of 5 wins and 3 losses in the EFC. Fighting out of Johannesburg, Goncalves is a technical striker with good cage awareness and composure.
His last outing came at EFC 124 where he lost via second-round submission to Shadrick Dju Yemba, a result that added to his previous loss to Ayanda Zwane in 2024.
Guide Moyo, representing Zimbabwe, enters the cage with a record of 6 wins and 5 losses. He is known for his toughness and forward pressure, often pushing opponents into grinding, close range exchanges.
His latest action came in July where he beat Christian Omokhobhio in the first-round due to injury, to break his two-fight losing streak.
