ELVIS MOYO vs MATUNGA DJIKASA
EFC Heavyweight Title Fight – Main Event:
Elvis Moyo, a long-time presence in the EFC, enters this heavyweight championship clash with a professional record of 9 wins and 6 losses, as well as experience within the institution dating back to 2014. Fighting out of Johannesburg, Moyo is known for his durability and raw power, often relying on his heavy hands to dictate the pace.
He has gone through ups and downs in his career but has faced a high level of competition, which might give him the edge heading into this bout. His most recent outing in April, where he beat Anthony Morel by 4th round retirement, showed he is a fighter who still possesses knockout potential and the ability to grind out results, when necessary, despite his lengthy break from fighting between 2018 and 2025.
Matunga Djikasa is a Congolese born heavyweight who carries a 7-5 professional record and will look to seize this opportunity to capture gold. He has shown flashes of destructive striking in his career, with most of his victories coming by way of knockout and although he has faced inconsistency at times, he is always dangerous to face in the early stages of a fight.
Djikasa will enter the cage looking to make a statement against the more seasoned Moyo in his return to the EFC after last fighting in the organisation during 2022. Before his move to the ACA competition, where he has lost both his fights with the latest ending in a round 1 knockout loss to Denis Smoldarev, he was riding a 3-fight unbeaten streak in the EFC.

Moyo 1.72
Djikasa 2.25
PREDICTION:
Moyo’s composure and higher level of experience should give him the advantage, although he will need to be careful as to not be caught in the opening rounds. I am predicting a round 3 knockout for Moyo.
NATHANIAL KOMANA vs GODKNOWS NDLOVU
Flyweight – Co-Main Event:
Nathanial Komana, who made his EFC debut in 2022, comes into this contest with a 3-2 professional record and a current EFC ranking of #12 at flyweight. Representing Springs, Komana has been steadily improving in each fight, showcasing a balanced skill set with striking and grappling ability.
He is a fighter who thrives on pace and pressure, often looking to overwhelm his opponents with volume and consistent movement inside the cage and it is important to note that he has won his last 2 fights via stoppage. The last time he took to the canvas was in April where he beat Kgaugelo Moishela in round 2 with elbow strikes.
Godknows Ndlovu, fighting out of Johannesburg, holds a record of 5 wins with 4 defeats under the organisation and is no stranger to tough battles. He has shown his resilience on multiple occasions and has an ability to make fights gritty and competitive through his talent in the field of grappling.
Ndlovu possesses experience against high calibre competition and can use his strength in scrambles to turn things in his favour. Despite this he has been on shaky form over the last couple of years, losing 3 while winning just 2 of his last 5 encounters, with the latest resulting in a decision loss to Ntando Zondi when they met in June.

Komana 1.53
Ndlovu 2.65
PREDICTION:
I believe Komana’s pressure heavy style should edge him through what should be a tight battle. I’m predicting a decision win for him after three competitive rounds.

ROEVAN DE BEER vs GODFREY MKHWANAZI
Featherweight Main Card Fight:
Roevan De Beer brings a wealth of EFC cage time into this fight with a professional record of 7 wins although he has suffered 8 defeats. Despite his unstable record, he is a durable competitor who is known for his determination and willingness to engage throughout the bout, which makes him a difficult opponent to put away at times.
His last fight was held in July at EFC 125 where he took on Rian Dunn and beat him with a heel hook to secure a 1st round triumph.
Godfrey Mkhwanazi is a fighter from Boksburg who possesses a 3-3 record within the EFC. He steps into the arena this weekend on a 2-fight winning streak and he will certainly look to extend this. He is a developing fighter who has shown solid striking ability alongside improving grappling and while still ironing out some flaws, Mkhwanazi has the potential to catch opponents off guard with opportunistic offense and sharp counters.
His most recent test was in the form of Douglas Jai Chilufya who he beat via decision when they fought in June during an Impact Championship event.

De Beer 2.00
Mkhwanazi 1.85
PREDICTION:
This clash is very evenly matched on paper, and it will likely come down to who imposes their game plan better. I think Mkhwanazi will have enough in the tank however, to get this done by decision.
Suggested Bets:
My bets will be added to this preview when there are more markets priced up (check back Thursday morning, but for now a win treble on my 3 fancies
