EFC Worldwide Lightweight Title Fight:
Igeu Kabesa is a well-known grappler from Sunninghill in Johannesburg and he has built an impressive career record for himself over the years, currently sitting with 19 wins under his belt, while having lost just 2 fights.
He has been on incredible form over the last 2 years , winning his last 7 fights in a row, with 6 of these being title shots or title defences. The last time he stepped into the WSB Arena was against Humphrey Mulenga in July where he beat him with a round 1 rear naked choke.
Martin Van Staden is a clean striking welterweight from Johannesburg who has fought in the EFC for over 13 years. He has participated in 21 bouts, winning 13 and losing 8 of these. He has struggled to find consistent winning form throughout his career, and he has won 3 and lost 2 of his 5 most recent clashes.
His latest encounter was against Cole Henning in October where he dominated the fight winning by round 2 TKO. This fight sees him moving down to the lightweight division.
