JACO DU PLESSIS vs LUKE MICHAEL
Middleweight Title Fight:
Jaco Du Plessis is a well-rounded fighter who shows talent in all areas of the sport. He has been successful in his professional career so far and has a 100% record after 4 fights, with 3 of these wins being in the EFC. Including his amateur fights, he currently sits on a 8 fight win streak.
His last fight took place in February last year where he took on Justin Smith at a” UAE Warriors” event, and he managed to take a round 3 TKO win, however with him not fighting in over a year some concerns have been raised about whether he has been able to hold his form.
Luke Michael who fights out of Johannesburg, is a fighter known for his clean striking and grappling abilities. He has been in the EFC for nearly 10 years, with 6 wins and 5 losses in 11 fights. He has won 3 of his last 5 fights.
His most recent fight took place in April where he lost to JP Kruger by submission in round 2 but he was returning from a long injury layoff. He will enter the fight as the underdog.

Khulekani Hlongwa, fighting out of Durban, is a man who entered the UFC in 2017 and he has a chequered and rather inconsistent record. He has fought 12 times since his debut, and he has lost 7 and only won 4 with 1 fight ending in a no contest.
