ZAAKIR BADAT vs JAILSON DE SOUSA RODRIGUES
Welterweight Title Fight:
Zaakir Badat is a South African fighter well known for his grappling abilities and clean striking, he currently has a record of 3-0 in the EFC and his first fight was in 2019, he then fought again in 2019 and then fought abroad in the UAE Warriors organisation before making his EFC return in his last fight that took place last year where he fought Christopher Matukane and won by submission in round 1.
He will enter the fight as the slight favourite on this occasion due to being more experienced and having a more impressive career record.
Jailson De Sousa Rodrigues is a Brazilian fighter, who fights out of Cape Town, he is known for his all-round balanced fighting ability, and he currently holds an EFC record of 2-1 after losing his debut fight in 2019 and winning his next 2. His most recent fight was in November last year where he beat Khulekani Hlongwa by submission in round 3 at EFC 109.
He will have the betting odds stacked against him when he enters the octagon as a result of his lack of professional experience.

Faeez Jacobs is a fighter known for his effective striking, who entered the EFC in 2017 and he has plenty of experience after having fought 12 fights since then, he currently sits on a record of 8-4 after winning 8 and losing 4 fights. He fought in the EFC until 2021 and then went abroad to UAE Warriors too, however he has settled back at the EFC and his last fight saw him take on Eduardo Barros at EFC 107 where he won by decision.
Sylvester Chipfumbu is a fighter who was born in Zimbabwe, he currently fights out of Parklands, Cape Town and he had his first EFC fight in 2016, since then he has created an impressive record for himself and he has fought 10 times professionally, winning 8 and losing just 2 fights. Jacobs 9/10
Chipfumbu 9/10
PREDICTION:
The betting on this fight is even, but with Chipfumbu winning the last time they met and his more impressive record, I believe he takes this by TKO in round 3.
TUMELO MANYAMALA vs MICKY CLOETE
Flyweight Fight:
Tumelo Manyamala, fighting out of Cape Town is a dominant striker who has been very successful in the EFC so far, he has fought 5 times and won all 5 with 1 win by submission and 4 wins by TKO/KO. His most recent fight was in the UAE Warriors campaign where he lost to Mark Climaco by decision in January this year.
He will enter as the favourite across the betting markets this Thursday due to his impressive form in the EFC.
Micky Cloete is a fighter from Potchefstroom who is known for his kick boxing fighting style, he has fought a total of 5 times in the EFC since he joined the organisation and after losing his debut fight, he turned things around and he currently sits on a 4-fight win streak. His last fight was against Lukhmaan Jhazbhay in March this year where he won by submission in round 2 at EFC 111.
He has been labelled the dark horse amongst the betting and he will be looking for an upset win to keep his winning streak alive.
