KREJCIKOVA v RYBAKINA
Krejcikova is a 28 year old Czechoslovakian player and she faced 13th seed, Ostapenko in her quarter-final winning 6-4 and 7-6. Her toughest match came in the first round against Kudermetova where she was taken to three hard sets, but since then has come through without dropping a set, including beating 11th seed Collins 7-5, 6-3 in the round of 16.
Rybakina is a Kazakhstani player and she has also only dropped one set on her way to the semi-finals. Her quarter-final was a straight 6-3,6-2 win over Svitolina the 21st seed and it was only in her second round match where she dropped a set to Germany’s Siegemund.
Head-to-Head
These players have met 2 times in the past with Krejcikova winning on each occasion. Their last meeting was back in October 2022 when Krejcikova won 6 in the third set.

Krejcikova 7/2
Rybakina 2/9
Both ladies are playing great tennis, but I feel that the 7/2 on Krejcikova is great value especially given her career record edge over her opponent.
BET: Krejcikova win at 7/2

DONNA VEKIC v JASMINE PAOLINI
Donna Vekic is a 28 year old Croatian and has to fight hard to get to the semi-finals. She beat a fellow non-seeded player Lulu Sun 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 in her quarter-final and she has been taken to three sets in 4 of her 5 matches and to this point has not had to play the top 16 seeds.
Paolini the 28 year old 7th seed from Italy had no problem seeing off her 19th seed opponent, Navarro 6-2, 6-1 in her quarter-final. She had come through a tough round of 16 match against 12th seed, Keys winning by a walkover with the scores locked at 5-5 in the 3rd set. In her first 3 matches all went her way in straight sets.
Head-to-Head
This pair have met twice and are currently 1 win apiece. Last time they met in October 2021 it was Vekic who romped to a 6-2, 6-0 victory.

Vekic – to follow
Paolini – to follow
Vekic may be unseeded, but she has been playing some excellent tennis and I think this could be a very tight game. I am going to bet that this goes the distance and that the under-dog wins it in the 3rd set.
BET: Correct score, 2-1 Vekic at 5/1
