Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic meet in the Wimbledon Final for the second successive year and we take a look at the match from a betting angle.
Carlos Alcaraz is the 3rd seed and he seems to be playing better as the Tournament has progressed. He got off to a slow start in his semi-final against 5th seed Medvedev going down to a 1st set tie-breaker before winning the next 3 sets comfortably. Alcaraz’s toughest match was against 29th seed Tiafoe in the third round where he was 2 sets to 1 down and required a tie-breaker to force the 4th set which he won 6-2. Alcaraz is the defending Wimbledon Champion.
Novak Djokovic was up against 25th seed, Musetti in his semi-final and he won in straight sets 6-4, 7-6, 6-4. Djokovic had a walk-over in the quarter-final against de Minaur and he has only dropped two sets all Tournament. He was a doubtful starter at Wimbledon but has made an impressive recovery from an injury that took him out of the French Open.
Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slam titles and 7 of those have come at Wimbledon.
Head-to-Head
Djokovic and Alcaraz have met 5 times with Djokovic winning 3 and Alcaraz 2. Djokovic has won their last two meetings towards the back-end of 2023, but Alcaraz beat Djokovic in a thrilling 5 set Final last year winning 6-4 in the 5th.

Carlos Alcaraz 4/6
Novak Djokovic 5/4
Prediction
Both of these players have immense stamina and we could be in for another long and exciting match. Alcaraz will take a lot of confidence from the fact that he beat Djokovic last year, but there is something about the way that Djokovic is playing this year that makes me think he means business and will back him to cause a minor upset here.
BET: Djokovic win at 5/4
