Lazio v Bayern Munich – Click here to bet
Lazio qualified 2nd in their group behind Atlético Madrid, winning 3 of their 6 matches as well as drawing 1. They only managed to score 7 goals while also conceding 7 goals in the group stages. The Italian team has only won 2 of their last 5 matches in all competitions and will need to put in a massive performance if they are to trouble Bayern.
Bayern Munich went undefeated in the group stages, winning 5 matches and drawing 1 while topping their group. They were 8 points clear of 2nd place FC Copenhagen. They scored an impressive 12 goals while only conceding 6. Bayern is in an unfamiliar position in the Bundesliga as they try to chase down Bayer Leverkusen with 13 matches to go. It will be interesting to see if they focus more on the league or if they push to win both competitions.
The last time the two clubs met was in the 2020/2021 Champions League where Bayern won both matches 2-1 and 1-4.
Bayern are favourites to win at 4/6 while the bookies have Lazio at 4/1 and the draw at 3/1.
Although Bayern is not having their best season, the German powerhouse should be too strong for Lazio this coming Wednesday. That being said Lazio won’t roll over and I am backing Bayern to win by exactly a goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap Bayern Munich -1 the draw at 28/10

PSG v Real Sociedad – Click here to bet
PSG finished 2nd in their group behind Dortmund. They were tied on 8 points with Milan and only managed to qualify on goal difference. They played 6 matches in the group stages where they won 2, drew 2 and lost 2. They managed to net 9 goals while conceding 8. Although their group stage performance was not one to write home about, they have managed to find some form not losing a match over the last 3 months.
Real Sociedad finished top of Group D. Of the 6 matches they played, they won 3 and drew 3, going undefeated. They scored 7 goals while only conceding an impressive 2 goals over the 6 matches. They have only lost 1 of their last 7 matches in all competitions with 3 draws and 3 wins coming in that time. During their last 10 matches in all competitions, on only 1 occasion have they conceded more than 1 goal, coming in a 2-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao.
The two teams have never faced each other but both will be looking for a positive start to their knockout stage campaign.
PSG are heavy favourites to win at 7/10 while Real Sociedad is trading at 9/2 and the draw 28/10.
PSG will most likely win the match, but I am expecting it to be close.
Real Sociedad’s defense has been excellent this season and it won’t be easy for PSG to break them down.
Suggested bet: Correct score 1-0 at 11/2
