SATURDAY
AC MILAN v LECCE– Click here to bet
AC Milan will host Lecce this Saturday after securing a 2-1 victory away against Fiorentina last weekend, demonstrating a strong run of form with a six-game winning streak across all competitions. Currently occupying 2nd position on the table, they trail league leaders Inter Milan by 14 points. Their home record is particularly impressive, boasting ten wins, two draws and two losses to date.
AC Milan have averaged 1.64 goals per game at home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 64.2% of those games (9 out of 14)
Lecce will visit AC Milan following a 0-0 draw against Roma. They are currently placed 13th on the log with 30 points. The visitors will be keen to enhance their current form, having only collected 5 points out of a possible twenty-one, indicating their recent poor performance. Their away record mirrors this lacklustre form, with just one win, six draws, and eight losses recorded to date.
Lecce have averaged 0.73 goals per game away from home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 66.6% of those games (10 out of 15).
Head to Head
The reverse fixture finished 2-2 earlier in the season with AC Milan triumphing 2-0 in this fixture last season.
Verdict
Given recent form and home advantage, along with Lecce’s struggles and poor away record, AC Milan look difficult to oppose. The hosts are currently 4/9 on the outright, so perhaps looking for value elsewhere may be the way to go. With under 2.5 goals favouring both teams this season, combining the two should improve odds in a more favourable manner.
Recommended Bet: Result And totals, AC Milan and Under 2.5 at 26/10
ROMA v LAZIO– Click here to bet
Roma will host Lazio after a surprising 0-0 draw away to Lecce. Positioned 5th on the table, they trail Bologna by 5 points, just outside the Champions League placings. With a six-game unbeaten streak and having secured fourteen points from a possible eighteen recently, Daniele De Rossi and his team will enter the game with confidence. Their home record is currently the 3rd best in the league, boasting ten wins, three draws and two losses thus far.
Roma have averaged 2.26 goals per game at home this season, with over 2.5 goals arriving in 60% of those games (9 out of 15)
Lazio will visit the Stadio Olimpico after an impressive 1-0 victory over Juventus. Having secured back-to-back wins following three consecutive losses earlier in the league, they currently sit 7th on the table. With a 6-point gap between them and Roma, they aim to close it on Saturday in hopes of securing a spot in Europe for next season. However, Lazio must improve their away performance, having recorded seven wins, seven losses and just one draw to date.
Lazio have averaged 1.46 goals per game away from home this season, with over 2.5 goals arriving in 60% of those games (9 out of 15).
Head to Head
The reverse fixture resulted in a 0-0 draw earlier in the season with Lazio winning 1-0 in this fixture last season.
Verdict
With at least one of these two teams failing to score in their last five encounters in all competitions, perhaps it’s an alternative worth pursuing, given how closely contested these two are in the league standings. With so much at stake and only eight games remaining, this match is expected to be tightly contested. I’m torn between Roma’s impressive record or the recent history of head-to-head clean sheets. A decision must be made, so I will choose to continue with the same trend.
Recommended Bet: Both Teams To Score, No at 10/11

SUNDAY
JUVENTUS v FIORENTINA– Click here to bet
Juventus, currently ranked 3rd on the table, suffered another setback on Saturday with a 1-0 defeat against Lazio away from home. They have only managed to secure one victory in their last five league matches. Additionally, they have obtained just 2 points out of a possible twelve and have failed to score in consecutive games. At home, they have registered nine wins, five draws and just one loss to date.
Juventus have averaged 1.46 goals per game at home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 66.6% of those games (10 out of 15)
Fiorentina, currently 10th on the league table, suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Milan over the weekend. Their recent form is somewhat disheartening, as they have only managed to obtain two points out of a possible nine in their recent league encounters. However, their away stats are somewhat respectable, with four wins, four draws and six losses thus far.
Fiorentina have averaged 1.07 goals per game away from home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 71.4% of those games (10 out of 14).
Head to Head
Juventus won the reverse fixture 1-0 earlier in the season registering the same outcome and scoreline in this fixture with a 1-0 victory last season.
Verdict
Both teams are struggling lately, making it a difficult one to call on the outright. However, in their past eight head-to-head matches across all competitions, the under 2.5 goals market has a 100% record. With Juventus only experiencing one loss in those eight encounters, I’m leaning towards under 2.5 goals and the hosts not to lose.
Recommended Bet: Double Chance And total, Juventus/Draw and Under 2.5 at 21/20
