We’ll be examining three upcoming Serie A matches taking place this weekend and we suggest a bet in each game.
With Inter Milan as runaway leaders, there is no value in backing the Outright market at 1/250. We offer alternatives such as exotic markets like the top 4, where Roma appeals at 2/1, as well as options related to relegation or finishing bottom, should that interest you.

SATURDAY
TORINO v JUVENTUS– Click here to bet
Torino will play host to Juventus this Saturday after experiencing another setback over the weekend, losing 3-2 to Serie A strugglers, Empoli. Currently 9th on the table with 44 points, their European aspirations for next season seem to be a bridge too far, considering they find themselves 11 points adrift of contention with just seven games left to play. With seven wins, six draws and two losses at home, Il Toro will be hoping to improve their record this weekend against the Old Lady, having obtained 27 points from a possible 45 as hosts this season.
Torino have averaged 1 goal per game at home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 73.3% of those games (11 out of 15)
Juventus will visit Torino off the back of an impressive 1-0 win over Fiorentina, marking back-to-back success in all competitions. Having taken a bit of a dip in form prior to that, the Old Lady currently find themselves in 3rd place on the table with 62 points, well out of contention for the title. Away from home, Juventus have fared relatively well, having registered eight wins, three draws and four losses to date. However, their current away form has reflected three losses from their last four away appearances in the league, which will be cause for concern.
Juventus have averaged 1.46 goals per game away from home this season, with over 2.5 goals slightly favoured at 53.3% of those games (8 out of 15).
Head to Head
Juventus won the reverse fixture 2-0 earlier in the season and won 1-0 in this fixture last season.
Despite showing signs of wear on their travels, Juventus have had Torino’s measure for quite some time now. Unbeaten in their last nineteen matchups, registering fifteen victories and four draws in all competitions, a chance is taken on the Old Lady to replicate their recent success once again.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Juventus at 5/4
BOLOGNA v AC MONZA– Click here to bet
Bologna will host AC Monza in the late kickoff this Saturday evening, having registered a disappointing 0-0 draw away to Frosinone. That result meant that the Red and Blues dropped two vital points that could potentially have an adverse effect on their Champions League aspirations. Currently 4th on the table with 55 points, they find themselves 3 points ahead of rivals Roma with seven games remaining for that all-important Champions League berth for next season. Thankfully for Bologna, they will be at home this weekend, where they boast the 2nd best league stats, with twelve wins, two draws and two losses to date.
Bologna have averaged 1.81 goals per game at home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 62.5% of those games (10 out of 16)
AC Monza, currently 11th on the league table, suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Napoli over the weekend. That result marked their second consecutive loss in the league, which is less than ideal as we enter the final stretch of this season’s campaign. On their travels, the White and Reds have fared reasonably well, having obtained 19 points from a possible 45, with five wins, four draws and six losses to date.
AC Monza have averaged 0.93 goals per game away from home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 60% of those games (9 out of 15)
Head to Head
The reverse fixture resulted in a 0-0 draw earlier in the season with Monza winning this fixture 1-0 last season.
With Champions League dangling before their eyes, the hosts will be difficult to oppose here. AC Monza have been a bit of a bogey side in the past, but the hosts have been strong on their turf, netting at least twice in five of their last six home appearances. It’s a massive game in the context of the season, and while I favour the home side to win, I fancy them finding the net at least twice even more.
Suggested Bet: Bologna Totals, Over 1.5 at 15/20

SUNDAY
INTER MILAN v CAGLIARI– Click here to bet
Inter Milan are currently in pole position, securing yet another win over the weekend with a 2-1 victory away to Udinese, establishing back-to-back victories in Serie A. That result means that the mighty Black and Blues now have a commanding lead with fourteen points between them and their nearest rivals, AC Milan. At home, Inter have been superb, having registered thirteen wins, two draws and just one defeat to date. With three games left at San Siro, every home fixture will be treated as a celebration, knowing they are on the cusp of securing their 20th league title.
Inter Milan have averaged 2.43 goals per game at home this season, with over 2.5 goals arriving in 56.2% of those games (9 out of 16)
Cagliari, currently 13th in the league table, will enter San Siro on a winning note, having registered an impressive 2-1 home win over Atalanta this past weekend. Lack of consistency emerges when they play away from home, with just one win, four draws, and ten defeats this season. Unfortunately for the Rossoblu, it does not end there, they have established the worst goal-scoring ratio on the road, with a miserly nine goals from fifteen league appearances to their name thus far.
Cagliari have averaged 0.6 goals per game away from home this season, with under 2.5 goals arriving in 53.3% of those games (8 out of 15).
Head to Head
Inter Milan won the reverse fixture 2-0 earlier this season as well as running out comfortable 4-0 winners in this fixture last season.
With so much favouring the Black and Blue going into this clash, Inter Milan should secure maximum points at home, taking them one step closer to the title. At 1/5, though, the odds look a bit skinny. Cagliari have struggled to string goals together on the road and with Inter’s resolute defence and recent head-to-head stats, my play will be on the hosts to win to nil.
Suggested Bet: Which team to score, Only Inter Milan at 9/10
