Serie A continues this weekend and we take a look at 5 of the matches taking place on Saturday and Sunday and suggest a bet in each of them.
Let’s kick off with a look at the latest Serie A betting where we have Inter Milan trading as 39/20 favourites ahead of AC Milan at 28/10, Napoli are 7/2, Juventus 15/4 and you can get 28/1 and better the balance.

SATURDAY
Juventus v Lazio – Click here to bet
Juventus are currently 3rd on the table with 7 points from a possible 9. They beat Empoli 2-0 away in their last start and their only home game was a 1-1 draw with Bologna.
Lazio are 12th on the log with 3 points from their opening 3 matches. Their campaign started badly with an away loss to Lecce and a home loss to Genoa, but they got back on track with a 2-1 away win over Napoli last time out, a game where they were priced as 9/2 underdogs.
Juventus won this fixture 3-0 last season and Lazio won the reverse fixture 2-1.
Juventus have won 3 of their last 4 against Lazio at home and I am backing them to get my Serie A weekend off to a winning start.
Suggested Bet: Juventus win at 9/10
Inter Milan v AC Milan – Click here to bet
This massive derby clash is made all the more spicy given that both sides are sitting at the top of the table with 100% records after 3 matches.
Inter beat Fiorentina 4-0 at home last time out and they scored 8 goals without conceding in their first 3 games.
AC Milan saw off AS Roma 2-1 on the road. They have also scored 8 goals, but conceded 2 over their opening 3 matches.
Last season it was the home team which won on each occasion with Inter winning this fixture 1-0 and AC Milan the reverse fixture 3-2 and there hasn’t been more than a goal between these sides over the last two seasons.
Inter Milan are favourites here at 5/4 with the draw at 5/2 and AC Milan 9/4. I wouldn’t put you off the draw, but I think we are in for a tight, low scoring game and I am taking under 2.5 goals.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 10/11

Genoa v Napoli – Click here to bet
Genoa are 14th on the log with 3 points from their opening 3 games that came courtesy of an away win at Lazio in their penultimate start and they were beaten 1-0 on the road by Torino last time out.
Napoli are 6th on the log with 6 points from 3 games courtesy of opening victories over Frosinone away and Sassuolo at home last time out they were 13/20 favourites, but were beaten 2-1 at home by Lazio.
Napoli are the 7/10 favourites to win this one, but I prefer the goal markets again and I think we have another low scoring clash coming up.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 21/20
SUNDAY
Fiorentina v Atalanta – Click here to bet
Fiorentina are currently 8th on the log with 4 points from their opening 3 games. They won 4-1 away at Genoa in their opening match and subsequently drew to Lecce at home and lost 4-0 on the road to Inter.
Atalanta are sitting 5th on the table in the early going with 2 wins and a loss in their opening 3 games. They beat Monza 3-0 at home last time out and their 2 away games were a 2-1 defeat at Frosinone and a 2-0 victory over Sassuolo.
This fixture finished 1-1 last season and I think it is going to be another tight one and will be backing the draw at what looks like an attractive price.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 26/10
AS Roma v Empoli – Click here to bet
AS Roma have made a slow start to the new season with just 1 point from their opening 3 games. They were beaten 2- 1 at home by AC Milan in their last start and the other home match was on the opening day of the season when they drew 2-2 with Salernitana.
Empoli are sitting bottom of the table and have yet to take a point or score a goal. They were beaten 2-0 at home by Juventus last time out and their only away game was a 2-0 defeat to Monza.
I am backing AS Roma to get things back on track here and win this game by more than a goal something they have done in the 2 last home games against Empoli.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, AS Roma -1.5 goals at 5/4
