These two sides met twice in the league last season, where Sundowns won both fixtures, with the first away from home ending 1-0. The second match hosted by Sundowns was a dominant one-sided affair that ended 3-0.
Verdict
Sundowns are worthy favourites but AmaZulu who have won their last 2 home games should put up a fight. Sundowns to win by 1 goal exactly is my play here.

Orlando Pirates have been on top form this season and they are in 2nd place just behind Sundowns after winning 7 and losing just 1 of their 8 matches.
Their home form has been good and of the 6 matches played they have taken 15 points from a possible 18. They took to the field in the PSL on the 1st of December against Stellenbosch. Despite playing in front of a home crowd and starting 1.65 favourites, they lost 1-0.
Marumo Gallants have battled to find consistency in the league this season, and they are placed in 12th on the log after winning 3, drawing 1 and losing 5 of their matches.
They have had a tough time away from home, losing 4 and winning 1 of the 5 matches played. They went up against a strong Polokwane City side in their latest match, held on the 15th of December and despite putting up a good fight they lost 1-0 away from home against the 2.00 favourites.
Head-to-Head
The last time these sides encountered one another was in the 2022/2023 league, where Pirates won the first match at home 1-0. Marumo then played on home turf but they were unable to restrict Pirates who won the match 2-0 when the final whistle blew.
Verdict
I think that Pirates will follow suit with their solid home form for this season and bounce back from their first loss with a dominant performance on Tuesday. They are very short for the win at 1.33 so to boost the price I am going to back them to win to nil.
