Magesi have had a terrible season and they have only won 1 match, drawing 3 and losing 5. This leaves them in last place overall with just 6 points to their name.
They have been unable to win a game at home this season, and with them being matched against Pirates this seems unlikely to change on Sunday. Their most recent match was against SuperSport United where they fought hard but lost 1-0 away from home.
Orlando Pirates have had a superb run in the league this season, picking up 8 wins in their 9 matches, with just a single loss. They are currently in 2nd place on the log, giving Sundowns a solid run for their money.
Pirates have only participated in two fixtures on the road this season, and they have won both so far. They played against Marumo Gallants on Tuesday where they obliterated them to win with an insane scoreline of 8-1 at home.
Head-to-Head
The only head-to-head these two sides have was in this year’s Carling Knockout Cup in September, where Magesi pulled off a huge upset to beat Pirates 3-2 and advance to the next round.
Verdict
I think that although Magesi clinched a win in the Carling Knockout just a few months ago, it is hard to look past Pirates on this occasion especially after a dominant win in their latest match. Pirates are 1.40 to win the match but I am going to back them to win by more than 1 goal.

KAIZER CHIEFS vs CHIPPA UNITED – Click here to bet
Kaizer Chiefs have not had the campaign they would’ve hoped for this season, and they are in 9th place on the table after winning, drawing and losing 3 of their 9 matches respectively.
They have battled to find consistency at home where they have taken 4 points from a possible 9. They went head-to-head with TS Galaxy in their most recent matchup which concluded in a 1-1 draw away from home.
Chippa United have been impressive this season and they have held their own against some solid opposition, winning 4, drawing 2 and losing 4 of their matches. They sit 6th on the log.
It is important to note that Chippa have not been on good away form, losing 2 and drawing 1 of their 3 matches on their travels.
They clashed with Cape Town City roughly two weeks ago in a match that resulted in a 1-0 defeat, despite being on home turf.
Head-to-Head
These teams encountered one another twice last season, with the first match in front of Kaizer Chiefs supporters being uneventful and ending in a 0-0 draw. The second match hosted by Chippa saw them dominate and take home a 2-0 victory.
Verdict
I am going to steer clear of the match result markets which has Chiefs as odds on favourites and Chippa as 5.50 underdogs.
All 3 Chiefs home matches have reached at least 3 goals and I think that is where the value lies.
