Siwelele FC vs Marumo Gallants – click here to bet
Siwelele sit rooted at the foot of the Premiership standings with only four points from eight outings, collecting just one win all season. Their struggles in front of goal have been their biggest obstacle, with only three goals scored and ten conceded.
Recent back-to-back defeats against Magesi and Orlando Pirates, where they lost 1-0 at home on Tuesday extended their winless run to seven games, and they are desperate to spark a revival in front of their fans.
Marumo Gallants, meanwhile, occupy 10th spot on ten points after a string of resilient performances. They have proven difficult to beat, drawing four of their last five games, including a creditable stalemate against Mamelodi Sundowns and their latest action featured a 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs on the road.
Gallants are not prolific in attack but remain steady defensively with eight goals scored and eight conceded across their campaign.
Head-to-Head
This will be the first ever meeting between Siwelele and Marumo Gallants in competitive action, adding intrigue to the encounter.
Odds: Siwelele 2.25 | Draw 2.85 | Gallants 3.70
Verdict
Siwelele’s lack of cutting edge is a concern, and while they will have home support, Gallants’ organisation and recent record against stronger sides gives them the edge. I think that a low-scoring affair looks likely in this clash but will stick with a straight win bet on the visitors.
Bet: Result – Marumo Gallants at 3.70
Chippa United vs Stellenbosch FC – click here to bet
Chippa United find themselves second from bottom with just five points after eight games. They have lost five times already, conceding fourteen goals, and they currently possess the worst goal difference at -8.
Their most recent outing was a battling 1–1 draw away to Sekhukhune, which made up for their 2-1 away loss to Polokwane City prior to that, but pressure is still mounting on the Eastern Cape side.
Stellenbosch are also struggling in 14th place with five points after winning one, drawing two and losing five encounters, though they arrive unbeaten in their last fixture after a goalless draw against Durban City in the midweek.
Goals have been in short supply for Stellies too, with only three scored in their campaign, one of the lowest tallies in the league.
Head-to-Head
The fixture has historically been relatively balanced, with Stellenbosch winning seven, Chippa three, and seven matches ending level. Last season, Stellenbosch claimed both league wins, including a 2–0 victory away in October 2024, which was followed up by a 1-0 win on home turf in the reverse leg held in April.
Odds: Chippa 4.75 | Draw 2.95 | Stellenbosch 1.95
Verdict
Both sides are battling to find rhythm, but Stellenbosch’s slightly steadier form and head-to-head advantage suggest they are better placed to claim maximum points here. I expect a tense affair with little between them on the scoreboard.
Bet: Correct Score – Stellenbosch 1–0 at 4.75
