POLOKWANE CITY vs MAMELODI SUNDOWNS – Click here to bet
Polokwane City have had a good start to the season, and they are in 5th place on the table, after winning 2, losing 1 and drawing 1 of their 4 matches.
Their most recent match took place on the 29th of September where they clashed with Stellenbosch on home ground and despite being slight underdogs, they managed to keep things tight and draw the match 1-1.
Mamelodi Sundowns have maintained incredible form from the get-go, and they are going to be a very challenging side to beat this season (as the outright markets suggest), they are in 2ndt place on the table3 points behind Pirates but with a game in hand.
Sundowns played their most recent fixture on Wednesday, where they hosted Royal AM at Loftus Versfeld. The game was much tighter than what the betting odds suggested, but in the end, Sundowns got the job done, winning 2-1.
Head-to-Head
These two teams met twice in 2023 during the Premiership season, where the first match resulted in a 2-0 Sundowns win away from home. The second match was very even and neither side scored, resulting in a 0-0 final score. Their most recent encounter was in the MTN 8 Cup in August, when Sundowns scored 1 unanswered goal.
VERDICT
Sundowns who are 1.55 for the win have an excellent defence and I am backing them to get the 3 points without conceding.
Bet: Result and Both Teams to Score – Sundowns and No at 2.30

CAPE TOWN CITY vs MAGESI FC – Click here to bet
Cape Town City are in 11th on the log due to an inconsistent start, winning 1, losing 1 and drawing 1 of their 3 matches.
The last time they hit the field this season was on the 28th of September, when they took on SuperSport United on home turf and they won 1-0.
Magesi FC sit one spot behind Cape Town City on the table in 12th position, with both teams being on 4 points. They have played 4 matches, losing 2, winning 1 and drawing 1.
Magesi’s most recent match saw them host Royal AM on the 28th of September. It was an uneventful match and in the end the final result was 0-0.
VERDICT
I think that Cape Town City can get the win but that the fixture will be tight. Cape Town City are a bit short at 6/10 for my pocket so I will back them to win with less than 3 goals in the game which means I am looking for a 1-0 or 2-0 victory.
BET: Result and Totals – Cape Town City and under 2.5 goals at 3.20
