Polokwane City vs Sekhukhune United – click here to bet
Polokwane sit 7th on the table with 12 points from eight matches, a run built largely on solid home form. Recent wins against Golden Arrows and Chippa United highlighted their fighting spirit, though their midweek 1–0 defeat away to Orbit College revealed a few inconsistencies.
With just six goals scored this season, their lack of firepower is a concern, but defensively they have proven difficult to break down conceding only five across their campaign.
Sekhukhune remain unbeaten and on top of the Premiership leaderboard with 20 points from eight games. Their form has been impressive, and they have picked up six wins while drawing the remaining two clashes. They hold the league’s tightest defence with only three goals conceded, and their well organised structure makes them very difficult to play against.
Their most recent matchup concluded in a surprising 1-1 draw when they hosted Chippa on Wednesday.
Head-to-Head
The sides have met six times in competitive action, with Sekhukhune holding the upper hand due to winning three of these fixtures with the other three finishing as draws. Their most recent clash came in the Premiership in April 2025, where Sekhukhune won 2–0 at home, while the last meeting in Polokwane ended 1–1 in January.
Odds: Polokwane 3.25 | Draw 2.70 | Sekhukhune 2.60
Verdict
Polokwane are tough at home, but Sekhukhune’s balance and defensive resilience make them slight favourites to edge this clash. I believe that although both sides are often involved in low-scoring encounters, goals will flow on Saturday.
Bet: Result and Totals – Sekhukhune United and Over 1.5 Goals at 4.30

Mamelodi Sundowns vs Richards Bay – click here to bet
Mamelodi Sundowns sit 2nd with 18 points from nine matches, winning five and drawing three while suffering a single defeat. After brushing aside Durban City 3–1 last weekend, they stumbled with a surprise 1–0 defeat away to Golden Arrows during the midweek.
With thirteen goals scored and only four conceded, Sundowns remain one of the strongest all-round sides in the league and will look to bounce back quickly in front of their home crowd.
Richards Bay are 8th on the table with 11 points from eight matches and are unbeaten in their last five outings of which they have won three and drawn two. Their improvement in form after losing three games to start the season has lifted confidence, and their defensive record is respectable with only five goals conceded.
Their last action took place on Wednesday where they met with Magesi and after a close match, they claimed a narrow 1-0 triumph at home.
Head-to-Head
Sundowns have dominated this fixture historically, winning all nine meetings. The most recent clash came in August 2025 in the MTN 8 Cup, where Sundowns cruised to a 4–0 victory. In the league last season, Sundowns won both encounters, 3–0 at home in April and 2–0 away prior to that in December.
Odds: Sundowns 1.25 | Draw 5.00 | Richards Bay 15.00
Verdict
Despite their midweek setback, Sundowns remain heavy favourites and should reassert themselves here. Richards Bay’s compact defence may slow them early, but Sundown’s superior quality should eventually tell, making them my pick to get the job done and get back on the right track.
Bet: Result and Totals – Mamelodi Sundowns and Under 2.5 Goals at 2.45
