PSL action will continue this weekend games taking place from Friday to Sunday and we cover 3 games in the betting preview below.
Let’s first take a look at the Outright Betting where the favourites, Mamelodi Sundowns are trading at 1.03 with Orlando Pirates further back at 13.00.
It may be time for bookmakers to price up on the title race without Sundowns and Pirates.

FRIDAY
AMAZULU vs RICHARDS BAY – Click here to bet
AmaZulu have slowly clawed their way up the table this season and they are in 7th place on the log with 30 points.
They have been on a decline in terms of recent form after losing their last 3 matches consecutively.
Their last clash was with Chippa United on the 29th where they lost 2-1 away from home.
Richards Bay have had a very inconsistent season and have battled to get on the winning side of things early on which puts them in 13th position after winning and drawing 6 games respectively with 11 losses.
They have not been on solid form when playing on the road and of these matches they have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 7.
They last played a few days ago where they suffered a 3-1 loss to Polokwane City away from home.
Head-to-Head
The last time these sides encountered one another was earlier on in the league, late last year where AmaZulu picked up a 3-1 victory on opposition turf.
Betting and Verdict
AmaZulu are at 2.40 to win with the draw 2.95 and Richards Bay at 3.50.
I think that although Richards Bay have been performing better as the season has continued they will fall short this time around, losing the match without finding the back of the net.

SATURDAY
KAIZER CHIEFS vs TS GALAXY – Click here to bet
Kaizer Chiefs remain on shaky form having lost 3 of their last 5 games. This leads to them being in 8th on the table.
They took to the field on the 29th of March when they met with Golden Arrows and despite being comfortable favourites, they could not score an equaliser and lost the match 2-1 on the road.
TS Galaxy have been on solid run over the last few weeks and they have moved up into 4th on the log and they have 9 wins, 8 draws and 7 losses under their belt which puts them on 35 points.
After coming off two important wins they lost their latest fixture 2-1 against Marumo Gallants on Sunday despite being on home soil.
Head-to-Head
Things were evenly matched between these teams when they met in December and after a low-scoring 90 minutes the game ended 1-1 in front of TS Galaxy’s supporters.
Betting and Verdict
Kaizer Chiefs are favourites priced at 2.25 with the draw at 3.00 and TS Galaxy at 3.75.
I think that this will be a competitive matchup, however I think that TS Galaxy come into this match as the side in much better form and I’m backing them to pick up the win.
BET: TS Galaxy Win at 3.75.
SUNDAY
CAPE TOWN CITY vs SEKHUKHUNE – Click here to bet
Cape Town City seem to be trapped in the back end of the table and with them being in 14th place on the log now they will be fighting to remain outside of the relegation zone.
They have been on poor form over their last 10 games of which they have not won a single one. Across these matches they have lost 6 and drawn 4 with the most recent clash being a 0-0 draw to SuperSport away from home.
Sekhukhune are still well positioned overall although they have fallen a couple of spots down the table. They are on 34 points with an aggregate goal difference of +3.
They have not been performing at their best lately, losing 3 of their 5 most recent encounters, with the latest game a 1-2 loss to Stellenbosch at home.
Head-to-Head
These sides met a couple of months ago in January in the Nedbank Cup, Round of 32 where the game was dominated by Sekhukhune on home ground and they won 2-0 when the final whistle sounded. Sekhukhune won this fixture 1-0 last season and I am hoping for a repeat scoreline.
Betting and Verdict
Cape Town City are trading at 2.55 with the draw at 2.95 and Sekhukhune priced at 3.25.
I think that this will be a low scoring match which will go the way of the underdogs, Sekhukhune.
BET: Result and Total – Sekhukhune and Under 1.5 at 7.50
