This weekend’s PSL fixtures conclude with a stand-alone match between Magesi and TS Galaxy taking place at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday the 20th of April. We will look at the game from a betting front and offer up some suggested plays for your consideration.
Looking at the Outright Betting Mamelodi Sundowns are the unbackable favourites at 1.01 with Orlando Pirates 11.00 and we continue to hope for a “without Sundowns and Pirates” market.

MAGESI vs TS GALAXY – Click here to bet
Magesi have found some solid form in the back end of this season, and they continue to gradually climb the table. They are still in 12th overall though due to losing 12 of their 24 matches while winning 7 and drawing 5.
Their recent home form has been flawless, and they have won their last 5 games in a row in front of their own supporters.
Their last fixture was scheduled for the 5th of April against Royal AM but it was postponed, prior to this the last time they took to the pitch was in a meeting with Stellenbosch on the 29th of March where they won 1-0 at home.
TS Galaxy continue to have a strong season, and they are still amongst the top of the log after 25 games played. Galaxy have won 9, drawn 9 and lost 7 of their matches which leaves them in 5th with an aggregate goal difference of 30 for and 26 conceded.
They have been inconsistent across their last 5 clashes, claiming 2 wins and 2 draws, while suffering 1 defeat .
They went head-to-head with Kaizer Chiefs on the 5th of April where neither team managed to score the winning goal, and the game concluded 1-1 on opposition soil.
Head-to-Head
These sides have met just twice, with the first match in the Carling Knockout Cup 2024 going the way of Magesi away from home after a 1-0 win. Their last encounter was earlier on in the season and after an uneventful 90 minutes the game ended 0-0 at TS Galaxy.
Betting and Verdict
TS Galaxy are the favourites at 2.50 with Magesi 3.30 and the draw 2.50.
Although Magesi have been a powerhouse at home lately, I do not think they will be able to defeat TS Galaxy, and the game will end in a draw.
BET: Result and Totals – Draw and Over 1.5 at 4.75
There are some interesting stats coming into this one. The last 6 Magesi league matches have all had exactly 1 goal in them whereas the last 5 TS Galaxy matches have seen both teams find the back of the net.
One of these streaks will end and as you see from my bet I fancy the Galaxy run to continue and other options include
Both Teams to Score YES at 2.25
Over 2,5 goals at 2.80
