Chippa United v Richards Bay – Click here to bet
Chippa United are currently 13th on the log and they are on a 4 game run without a victory and have drawn their last two games 1-1 away at Stellenbosch and at home to Cape Town City.
Richards Bay are currently 15th on the log with 1 victory and 4 defeats in their last 5 games. They are coming off a back-to-back 2-1 home loss to Royal AM and prior to that lost 3-1 on the road to Sekhukhune. Richards Bay have lost their last 4 away matches in succession.
Chippa United are 12/10 favourites, but I don’t have a firm view on the result here. The bet which jumps out is both teams to score, yes, at 23/20 as it would have arrived in the last 5 head-to-head meetings between the sides.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, Yes, at 23/20
Orlando Pirates v Cape Town Spurs – Click here to bet
Pirates are currently 4th on the log and got a much needed 3 points last time out beating Polokwane 1-0 on the road. Prior to that they drew 1-1 away to Sundowns and they have only lost 2 matches at home in 8 games this season.
Cape Town Spurs are 16th on the log and climbing the table after back-to-back victories, 2-0 at home to Galaxy and 3-1 at home to AmaZulu. They have yet to win on the road in 8 attempts this season.
Cape Town Spurs stunned Pirates 2-1 at home in the reverse fixture, a game where they started 9/2 underdogs.
Orlando Pirates are short-priced favourites here, but I don’t think they are going to have things their own way against an improving Cape Town Spurs and I will back them to win by exactly 1 goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Orlando Pirates -1, the draw at 26/10.

Sekhukhune v Royal AM – Click here to bet
Sekhukhune are currently 8th on the log and they have taken 7 points from the last 9 they have played for including coming off back-to-back wins, 1-0 away at Arrows and 3-1 at home to Richards Bay.
Royal AM are currently 12th on the log with 2 victories, 2 draws and a loss in their last 5 starts. They beat Richards Bay 2-1 on the road last time out and they have won 2 of their last 3 away matches.
Sekhukhune beat Royal AM 1-0 on the road in the reverse fixture, but last season Royal AM did the double over Sekhukhune and won this match 2-1.
Both sides are in reasonable form and this should be a tight game and I make the draw a big runner.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 21/10
TS Galaxy v Mamelodi Sundowns – Click here to bet
TS Galaxy are currently 7th on the log and saw a 3 match winning streak ended when they lost 2-0 away to Cape Town Spurs last time out, it was a disappointing result given they started 13/20 favourites. Their recent home form has been good though and they have won 3 in a row in front of their own fans including beating Arrows 3-1 at home in their penultimate start.
Mamelodi Sundowns are top of the table and cruising to yet another title. They have yet to taste defeat in 16 matches with 13 wins and 3 draws and last time out they ended a run of 2 successive draws with a 3-0 home win over AmaZulu. Sundowns have only dropped 2 points in 8 matches on the road this season and that was in their last away game where they played to a goalless draw at Cape Town City back in December.
Sundowns are 6/10 favourites for the 3 points with TS Galaxy on offer at 11/2, but 50% of Sundown’s matches have had 1 goal or less in them on the road so I am happy to take the 7/4 on offer that we get another low scoring encounter.
Suggested Bet: Under 1.5 goals at 7/4
