Kaizer Chiefs take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the DSTV Premiership on Thursday night and we take a look at that match and Friday nights game between Sekhukhune and TS Galaxy from a betting angle.
THURSDAY
KAIZER CHIEFS v MAMELODI SUNDOWNS – Click here to bet
Kaizer Chiefs are currently 8th on the log and coming off a much needed 3 point win against SuperSport United where they won 2-1 at home. That broke a run of 5 matches during which time they only took 1 point. Chiefs have won 3 of their last 5 home games and they have scored 12 goals and conceded 7 in 12 matches at home this season.
Mamelodi Sundowns are cruising to another PSL Title. They showed no ill effects from their exit in Africa when they beat TS Galaxy 3-0 at home in midweek. They have yet to lose in the League this season and in 10 matches on the road have only conceded 3 goals.
Head-to-Head
Mamelodi Sundowns beat Chiefs 2-1 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and they did the double over Chiefs last season.
Kaizer Chiefs are 33/10 for win with the draw priced at 22/10, but from what I saw of Mamelodi Sundowns against TS Galaxy they look the value here just shy of even money.
Suggested Bet: Mamelodi Sundowns win at 10/11

FRIDAY
SEKHUKHUNE UNITED v TS GALAXY – Click here to bet
Sekhukhune United are one of the form teams in the PSL and they currently sit 4th on the log, although they did see a 10 match undefeated streak ended when they went down 2-1 to Sundowns last time out. They have only lost 3 times at home this season in 13 matches.
TS Galaxy are 6th on the log and lost for the second time in 3 matches when they went down 3-0 away to Sundowns earlier in the week. Prior to the Sundowns game they had only lost 1 of their previous 6 games, but their problems have come on the road this season where they have only taken 8 points out of a possible 33 and they have only found the net 3 times in 11 away matches.
Head-to-Head
TS Galaxy won this fixture 2-0 at home earlier this season and both matches finished 1-1 last season.
Sekhukhune are the favourites here at 29/20 with the draw priced at 17/10 and TS Galaxy a 5/2. Given TS Galaxy’s poor away record I would have to say that Sekhukhune stand out as a strong bet here.
Suggested Bet: Sekhukhune United win at 29/20
