There are 4 DSTV Premiership matches taking place on Saturday and we suggest a bet in each of them.
Polokwane City v Sekhukhune United – Click here to bet
Polokwane are currently 9th on the log and coming off a disappointing goalless draw at home to Richards Bay. They have only lost 1 of their last 7 matches.
Sekhukhune are 2nd on the log and have only lost 1 of their last 10 games. They are coming off a 1-1 draw at SuperSport United and when these sides met earlier this season the match finished goalless.
The draw is definitely a runner here at 15/8, but at the end of the day I think that Sekhukhune United can continue their good season and bag the 3 points.
Suggested Bet: Sekhukhune United win at 33/20

Swallows v Stellenbosch – no betting on this match at the time of writing
Swallows are 13th on the log and coming off a 2-0 away defeat to Cape Town City. They have only won 3 of 13 home games this season and have only scored 11 goals in that time.
Stellenbosch are 2nd on the log and are coming off a goalless home draw against AmaZulu, that broke a run of 3 successive victories and they haven’t lost in the League since September 2023 when they went down to Sundowns.
Swallows beat Stellenbosch 2-0 on the road earlier this season. Stellenbosch won this fixture 2-1 last season and I am expecting the in-form side to bag the 3 points here.
Suggested Bet: Stellenbosch win at 12/10 or better
Mamelodi Sundowns v Royal AM – Click here to bet
Sundowns have wrapped up the title with plenty of games to spare and they are undefeated in 25 matches this season. They were held to a draw away at Golden Arrows last time out where the game finished goalless and at home this season they have only conceded 5 goals in 13 matches.
Royal AM are 14th on the log and not totally out of the woods as far as the relegation playoffs go. They have lost their last 3 matches all at home and all without troubling the scorers and they have only taken 1 point from the last 12 they have played for on the road.
While the job is done for Sundowns I can’t see them stepping off the gas, especially at home, and they should be far too strong for this Royal AM side.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Sundowns -1.5 goals at 19/20
Orlando Pirates v Richards Bay – Click here to bet
Pirates are 3rd on the log and in excellent form having won their last 5 matches on the trot. They were too strong for Chippa United last time out beating them 2-0 at home and Pirates haven’t conceded a goal in their last 4 matches.
Richards Bay are 15th on the table and they have only lost 1 of their last 5 starts. They played out a goalless draw away to Polokwane last time out and while a relegation playoff looks nailed on, an excellent finish to the season could see them get out of trouble. Richards Bay have only won once on the road this season.
Pirates are finishing the season strong and while the 40/85 they win the match is a bit short for my pocket, I am quite comfortable backing them to win this game by more than a goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Orlando Pirates -1.5 at 11/8
