The PSL returns on Tuesday and Wednesday and we take a look at 4 of the matches from a betting angle.
A reminder that World Sports Betting have priced up on the Winner without Mamelodi Sundowns and Golden Arrows are currently trading at 12/5 favourites ahead of SuperSport United at 28/10.

TUESDAY
ORLANDO PIRATES v SEKHUKHUNE UNITED – Click here to bet
Orlando Pirates have made a slow start to the season and they are currently 13th on the log with 2 wins in their opening 8 games. They do have games in hand over most of the sides above them. They have only taken 2 points from the last 12 they have played for and their last match was a 2-1 defeat at Cape Town Spurs. At home this season they have taken 7 points from a possible 12.
Sekhukhune are 11th on the log but are falling down the table after a fast start to the season. They have lost 3 of their last 4 games including losing 2-0 at TS Galaxy last time out. Sekhukhune have won 50% of their away matches this season, but they have lost their last 2.
Orlando Pirates are priced at 8/13 for the win, but I just don’t have the confidence to back them and will take a speculative correct score play.
Suggest Bet: Correct Score 2-0 at 11/2

WEDNESDAY
KAIZER CHIEFS v CAPE TOWN SPURS – Click here to bet
Kaizer Chiefs are 10th on the log and they have lost 3 of their last 4 matches. They went down 2-1 away to Golden Arrows last time out and their last home game was their first home defeat of the season, 1-0 against Cape Town City.
Cape Town Spurs are bottom of the log with 1 win in 9 starts. That came last time out when they stunned Orlando Pirates 2-1 at home. Cape Town Spurs have lost all 4 of their away games scoring 3 goals and conceding 10.
Kaizer Chiefs should be too strong for Cape Town Spurs and they have been priced at 5/10 to win the match and I am going to back them to win by more than a goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Kaizer Chiefs -1.5 goals at 15/10
AMAZULU v MAMELODI SUNDOWNS – Click here to bet
AmaZulu are currently 9th on the log and they are without a win in their last 4 starts, but have drawn 3 of those games including drawing 1-1 at Chippa United last time out. Their last home game was a goalless draw against Pirates and overall at home this season they are undefeated with 2 wins and 3 draws.
Mamelodi Sundowns are top of the table with a perfect record after 8 matches. They have scored 17 goals and conceded just 3 and their last match was back in September when they beat Stellenbosch 3-1 at home. Sundowns have won all 5 of their away games, scoring 8 goals and only conceding 1.
Sundowns haven’t won away to AmaZulu in the League in their last 3 attempts and I am going to back the home team to get a point out of this one.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 16/5
POLOKWANE v SUPERSPORT UNITED – Click here to bet
Polokwane are currently 5th on the log and they are undefeated in their last 5 matches with 2 victories and 3 draws. Last time out they drew 1-1 away at Pirates and they have only lost once at home this season with 3 wins and a draw in 5 matches.
SuperSport United are 2nd on the table. Since losing 1-0 away to Chippa United they have reeled off 3 successive victories including beating Galaxy 3-2 on the road last time out. Over 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in SuperSport’s last 3 matches, however, that stat is countered by Polokwane’s last 6 goals failing to reach the 3 goal mark.
Polokwane are 7/4 for the game, SuperSport 17/10 with the draw priced at 21/10.
I am going to back the SuperSport trend of high scoring matches to continue and will go for over 2.5 goals at 11/8. This would have arrived in last season’s fixture won 3-1 by Polokwane.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 11/8
