SATURDAY
Cape Town City v Kaizer Chiefs – Click here to bet
Cape Town City are currently 5th on the log, but they haven’t won in their last 4 matches and are coming off back-to-back defeats, away to Royal AM and at home to Stellenbosch. Cape Town City’s last 9 matches would have delivered profits had you backed under 2.5 goals.
Kaizer Chiefs are 7th on the log and are coming off a 3-2 Derby defeat to Orlando Pirates. Prior to that they had put a 7 match unbeaten run together with all 7 of those games failing to reach the 3 goal mark.
Head-to-Head
Cape Town City beat Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the reverse fixture and they also did the double over Chiefs last season.
Betting
This is a tight betting heat with Cape Town City favourites at 31/20, the draw 39/20 and Kaizer Chiefs priced at 19/10. The draw looks a big runner here at 19/10, but I am going to go for a Correct Score play.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score, 1-1 at 4/1
Sekhukhune United v Orlando Pirates – Click here to bet
Sekhukhune are currently 6th on the log and on an excellent run that has seen them win their last 4 games. Last time out they beat Swallows 4-1 on the road and they have taken 13 out of a possible 15 points from their last 5 home games.
Orlando Pirates are 2nd on the log and they beat Kaizer Chiefs 3-2 in the Soweto Derby earlier this month. They are undefeated in their last 4 matches and their away games have been low scoring with a total of just 17 goals in 10 matches.
Head-to-Head
Pirates beat Sekhukhune 1-0 at home in the reverse fixture, but Sekhukhune did the business against Pirates, winning 2-0 here last season.
Betting
Pirates are the 23/20 favourites with the draw 21/10, but I think that the bookmakers are under estimating an in-form Sekhukhune United.
Suggested Bet: Sekhukhune United Win at 26/10

SUNDAY
Cape Town Spurs v Swallows – Click here to bet
Cape Town Spurs are currently bottom of the log in 16th place, but they are undefeated in their last 4 starts which has seen them draw twice on the road against Stellenbosch and Pirates and beat TS Galaxy and AmaZulu at home.
Swallows are 14th on the log and they have now gone 11 League matches without a victory. They were hammered 4-1 at home by Sekhukhune last time out and they have only taken 3 points from a possible 15 in their last 5 away matches. There have only been 14 goals in total in Swallows 9 away games this season.
Head-to-Head
Swallows won the reverse fixture 3-1 at home earlier in the season, a game where they were priced at 17/20 favourites.
Betting
Cape Town Spurs are 29/20 for the win with the draw 22/10 and Swallows 15/8. Nothing jumps out at me in this game, but I expect it to be a tight and low scoring affair given we are getting towards the business end of the season and I am going to bet that we get 2 goals or less in the match, a bet that would have arrived in 4 of the last 5 Swallow away matches.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 5/6
