There are three DSTV Premiership fixtures taking place on Monday and Tuesday of this week and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
MONDAY
Mamelodi Sundowns v TS Galaxy – Click here to bet
Mamelodi Sundowns are 10 points clear of Stellenbosch at the top of the table and have played 3 games less. They have yet to taste defeat in the League this season and their last game was a 2-1 home win over in-form Sekhukhune. In 12 home matches this season Sundowns have scored 25 goals while conceding just 5.
TS Galaxy are currently 5th on the log and they are one of the form teams in the League with 4 wins and 1 loss in their last 5 games. they beat Swallows 2-1 at home last time out and their away games have been very low scoring with just 12 goals in 10 matches, 3 of which they have scored and 9 have come from their opponents.
Head-to-Head
These sides last met in the Carling Cup when TS Galaxy beat Mamelodi Sundowns 3-2. This will be their first League meeting of the season. Last season it was the away team which won on each occasion.
Sundowns start this game 8/15 favourites with the draw 3/1 and TS Galaxy 5/1.
I am wondering whether Sundowns will have something of a hangover having been knocked out of the African Champions Cup last week and I am going to back TS Galaxy to get something out of this game.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, TS Galaxy +0.5 goals at 15/10

TUESDAY
Cape Town Spurs v Polokwane – Click here to bet
Cape Town Spurs are bottom of the table and they broke a 4 match losing streak last time out when they beat Richards Bay 1-0 at home. That was their 8th consecutive match that has failed to reach the 3 goal mark.
Polokwane are 12th on the log and they are coming off a 5-0 hammering away at Stellenbosch and it has now been 5 matches since they last tasted victory in the League.
Over 2.5 goal backers would have returned profits in 3 out of the last 4 Polokwane matches.
Head-to-Head
Polokwane were too strong for Cape Town Spurs in the reverse fixture winning 3-1.
Polokwane’s confidence must be shaken after that hammering at the hands of Stellenbosch and I think Cape Town Spurs can take advantage and make it back-to-back wins.
Suggested Bet: Cape Town Spurs win at 23/10
Richards Bay v AmaZulu – Click here to bet
Richards Bay are currently 15th on the log, 6 points behind 14th placed Swallows so it is going to be very hard for them to avoid the relegation playoff. They saw a 2 match winning run ended when they lost 1-0 at Cape Town Spurs last time out and their last home games were 1-0 victories over Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows. Their last 4 matches in the League would all have delivered profits for under 1.5 goal backers.
AmaZulu are 11th on the log and are coming off a much needed 3 points at home to Chippa United where they won 2-1. Their last home game was a 1-0 defeat to Pirates and on the road this season they have only scored 8 goals in 12 matches while conceding 17.
Head-to-Head
These sides played out a goalless draw earlier in the season and last season this fixture finished 1-1 with Richards Bay edging AmaZulu 1-0 on the road.
Richards Bay are 14/10 favourites with AmaZulu 22/10, but personally I think the draw is the play here.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 39/20
