Newcastle United, sit closely behind West Ham in 8th position in the league. They have won their last 3 matches most recently beating Burnley 2-0 at home. Their last away game was an 8-0 hammering of Sheffield United and that was their 1st points on the road this season.

Brighton have won 3 out of 4 home matches and have scored the most goals (19) out of all the Premier League sides so far this season.
Liverpool sits 2 spots above Brighton in 4th position in the league and saw a 5 match winning streak ended when they lost 2-1 at Tottenham last weekend conceding an own goal in the 96th minute. Liverpool have taken 7 points from a possible 12 this season.
Head to Head
In January 2023 in the FA Cup, Brighton beat Liverpool 2-1 by scoring the winning goal during extra time. They went head-to-head twice last Premier League season, drawing the first match 3-3 at Anfield (Liverpool did concede an own goal), and Brighton taking a convincing 3-0 win at home.
