Chippa United have booked their spot in the last four with a 2-0 away win over TS Galaxy. They had previously seen off lower league, Ravens 2-1 at home and beat NC Professionals 2-1 on the road. They had put together a 4 match winning run across all competitions, but have lost their last 2 in the League, away to AmaZulu and at home to Swallows.
Orlando Pirates came out on top in a thrilling quarter-final against AmaZulu winning 4-2 on the road, a game where they started 11/10 favourites. They also put 4 past their last 16 opponents, Hungry Lions winning 4-0 at home and they despatched Crystal Lake 6-0 in their first match of the competition. Pirates are on a 5 match winning streak across all competitions.
These sides played out a 1 all draw in the League at Chippa United earlier this season.
VERDICT
Pirates are in excellent form and scoring plenty of goals and face a Chippa United side that is battling with injuries and suspensions.

SUNDAY
Stellenbosch v Mamelodi Sundowns – Click here to bet
This semi-final pits the top two teams in the PSL against each other.
Stellenbosch beat Pretoria Callies 2-1 in the Round of 32 before seeing off Milford 6-1 on the road in the Round of 16. They were too strong for SuperSport United in the quarter-finals, winning 4-0 at home and incredibly their last defeat in any competition was on the 27th of September, 2023 when they lost 3-1 away at Sundowns.
Sundowns hammered NB La Masia 6-1 in their entry to the competition before seeing off Maritzburg United 2-0 at home. They were away to Pretoria University in the quarter-finals, winning 2-1.
Sundowns beat Stellenbosch 3-1 in the above-mentioned fixture in the League and last season in the Nedbank Cup it was Stellenbosch who came out on top 2-1.
VERDICT
Sundowns are 8/10 favourites and justifiably so as they have dominated South African football in recent seasons. Stellenbosch though are fast becoming their greatest rivals and having beaten Sundowns in last year’s Nedbank Cup I can’t resist the 7/2 on offer about an upset win.
